Really good 90 minutes for Baccus. Strain had Garnacho in his sky rocket for the last 20 odd minutes and even managed 2 or 3 wee flurries going forward too.

Been watching Argentina v Australia. Baccus had had an excellent game. Strain on for the last 20 too.

The only time I was ever in The Jungle and pre match I had my first ever pint in a bar (The Cellar) aged 15 🤣

Red was until probably the late 90s almost exclusively our away kit colour (sometimes white). Also I remember the bar scarves back in the day that were black with a thinner white bar and then an even thinner red bar inside the white one. Things like club ties always had red in them too. Put it this way, if some asked me what colours St. Mirren play in I would always say black and white stripes, but if someone asked me what are St. Mirren’s club colours, I would always say black, white and red.

I’ve been watching St. Mirren since 1976 and the club colours have ALWAYS been Black, White and Red.

If we’re at home to Arbroath but away to Montrose, surely that’s one away game @faraway saint can make it to. 😀. depending on when these games fall I expect I’ll be able to make it to two of them. Up in Scotland between 23rd July and 2 August.

Vividly remember watching that game and being so proud we had a player in the team. Bizarrely I used to have the programme from it too. It was more like a book than an programme but remember it was all in Norwegian so couldn’t read any of it! 😀

Remember when a big film came out you had to right round the corner and up the side. I remember massive queues for films like Jaws and…..erm…….Grease. Also remember queuing for Star Wars at The ABC. Queue went right back past Paisley Tech.

I think this is one we’ll live to regret. Especially now that Joe is going to a direct competitor. I think he is (was) comfortably our best defender. Robinson makes lots of good decisions. This isn’t one of them.

Was going to ask the same question. At one point I think East Kilbride might have tipped us into second place, but last time I looked we were back to being the biggest again.

That West Brom game remains to this day one of the best football matches I have ever witnessed. It was incredible. I’d imagine that was probably my first visit to Ibrox too.

I suppose the way I’d measure my view on Baccus is that down the years I’ve been gutted when certain players have inevitably left the club. I think Baccus is a more than decent player, but I honestly wouldn’t be devastated if he left.

Agree with all of that, with a particular emphasis on Ayunga. I think he was a massive miss.

If I may jump to my own defence, as a general rule, I don’t get involved in the tit for tat shit on here of which historically there has been plenty. However, other than BinEK’s unhealthy obsession with Bazil, it’s been a bit quieter recently. I’m well aware that FS can be an argumentative, contrary fecker at times, but generally when he is it’s usually in response to something that is at least debatable or at worst controversial. The reason I piped up today was because Ricky’s comment was completely “unprovoked” and in response to a totally positive post by FS. There have been plenty of similar posts from Ricky in the past that I haven’t commented on because to some extent FS deserved it (or at least asked for it 😀). Anyway it was very much a one off comment from me and not likely to be repeated. Some of us work for a living. 😛

Poor form Ricky. I’ve felt in the past that you get an overly hard time from folk on here, but with shite like that, you’re your own worst enemy.
