What????? 87 was all a dream??? And I know that 4-1 victory over DU was good but I don’t think we got given the cup for it.

I didn’t think Mallan was THAT bad. He was very heavily involved in the game and always wanted the ball so inevitably a few things didn’t come off. I thought his dead ball deliveries were good, as was his passing for the most part. It’s true that as the game wore on his deliveries into the box from open play were poor and he definitely left his shooting boots at home tonight.

Plenty of trademark Morgan runs. Was a mental game. Never seen such a one sided game finish as a draw.

Aye but I cannae make out the words. It appears to be about our 3-0 victory over Celtic in 1990 but I’m struggling to believe we would create a song about a random defeat of a shitey Celtic team who finished 5th in the league and we finished 2nd bottom? A wee bit cringeworthy no? Which would be a shame coz it’s a cracking sounding song. Was there some other significance to this victory that I’m forgetting?

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he’ll sign a new contract. I was referring to you saying why would he take an offer from a club looking to buy him in January when he could just sign a PCA and make more money for himself.

Whilst Bazil’s summary is of course completely accurate, it makes one very simple assumption. That being that Lewis Morgan will be quite happy to see Saints shafted in order to feather his own nest. Whilst this approach would probably be taken by a large majority of modern day players, not all players are like that. For example, when Steven Naismith signed for Rangers, didn’t he give his entire signing on fee back to Killie to invest in their youth set up? All the noises coming from Jack and more importantly Lewis, is that they both want to find a solution that works for both the club and the player. Until something different happens, I’m willing to put a bit of faith in the wee man’s principles.

Thankfully not HSS. However, I reserve the right to be raging on behalf of any other FFFs who were planning to make the trip. In all seriousness, this is a proper reason for postponing a match. That said I don’t think there should be any senior football played during an international break.

Yaaaas. I can’t normally get St. Mirren TV in Jersey (even though Jersey isnae in the UK), but I too am on holiday so should be sorted for this. No need to rely on Div’s shoddy camera work or his amateurish inability to avoid gettin rumbled by jobsworth stewards! If for any reason Saints TV doesnae work, I will of course retract the above statement and pretend that Div is brilliant again!

Out of curiosity what would you have preferred between what we’ve got or a 3 sider like Falkirk where the stands are probably better, but you’ve got a gaping hole on one side. Not having a go. Genuine question. I’d go for what we have every time.
