Don’t think we can appeal the yellows but club could submit report on poor standard of referee. Accept referees have difficult task these days with pace of game and often little or no assistance from other officials, however, the issuing of yellow cards tonight was embarrassingly one sided. Referee very quick to book Saints players tonight but allowed persistent fouling by Watt, Hartley and Donnelly.
Most bizarre decision was late goal kick to Motherwell with Morias retaining possession at corner quadrant. Ball clearly still in play but goal kick decision given by referee who was 30 metres from play.
Motherwell players time wasting as soon as they scored. Every goal kick and every throw in. Booked two Saints players for time wasting as soon as we scored winner.
Any way, great win after poor start tonight.

Great win tonight. Second half was so much better than the first - Hodson in particular much better.

Durmus again was superb. Last month or so he's been much more positive in terms of running at players and winning the ball back high up the field. Really deserved that goal tonight.

McCarthy was brilliant again too. Won pretty much everything second half.

Is it just me, or has Durmus improved immeasurably since we signed Chabbi ?

I always thought he had it in him but, after a good start to the season, seemed to lose interest.
At least interest in tracking back and/or frustration of playing with Waters.

Seems Waters had a nightmare in defence tonight, but better going forward. Just wondering if perhaps Waters performing better recently is a factor in Durmus’ improvement.

At the end of the day I don’t care - 3 points at Fir Park tonight was magnificent. And at best improbable before the end of the year.

Expecting JG to play 4-4-2 here again and I don’t see any reason not to go with the same starting 11 from our last visit for the Cup match.

Went through Paisley this morning on way to work, forecast is for rain all day & night, and 60MPH winds.
Played games is poor weather already this season.
While it should really be off, it will probably be on.
 

So before the game , get off at Gilmour Street , get a cheap pint and meal at the last post , no point drinking on an empty stomach . Head next to the Bull Inn , a classic pub worth a wee visit . Just along is the wee howff which is good as is the pub next door . Then head to the match . After the game follow the crowd into the town ( a different way from the way you came ) and grab a pint at the Court Bar before catching the train back to Glasgow
 

LOL. just read above, The players didn't know they had won on Tuesday night and were waiting on junior taking a sixth penalty.  I'm not sure whats worse the players not being able to count or the thought of Junior at the penalty spot.
Priceless.
