Doesn’t matter what happened last season.

They weren’t better. We created more chances. We scored they didn’t.

They weren’t fitter. We kept going until the end and there wasn’t one single player that wasn’t driving us forward.

They hoofed it up the park all day long. We arguably played better football in the last 20 mins of the first half once we got a measure of the conditions.

Their brand of football if f**king painful to watch. That certainly hasn’t changed since last year. Thankfully they got what they deserved.

We’ve now had three solid performances in a row that have given us a real chance of staying up. Just enjoy it for f**k sake.

Not a pretty game or weather but it's always like that against this mob. The ante football. Thought we done well to get to HT 0.0. But the the 2nd half we just punted high balls up to them. Not a great game but a huge 3 points. Flynn was superb again. But Popescu is different class. And he's dragging Bairdy along with him. Great Hladiky got a clean sheet he deserved one. Need to play better against Killie. But it is winnable. Coys.

Minor quibble, but the word is 'libellous' (written down) not 'slanderous' (spoken). They both fall under the broader term, 'defamatory'.

the statement suggests it easy for someone to twist the truth without hard evidence, but then goes onto make a series of allegations without... guess what? Yip hard evidence! The statement also goes onto say that this debate shouldnt Be happening on social media... yes, thats right the very same statement released across all major social media platforms!
wrapped up by suggesting the need for a local MP is going to act as arbitrator/peacemaker ffs! Talk about fanning the flames!

cant pretend to know what did, or did not happen in the vommitory (what a phrase) of W7 but must ask?
Why was the injured fan on a stretcher not simply taken out the emergency exit of the stand he was in? Why bump him across the empty corner into the St Mirren choir in the first place?
secondly, what i did see clearly from as far away W3, that while the injured fan was being tended to in that corner of the away end. A United fan sat 30 yards away charged at the W7 section about four or five times, waving 'come ahead' to W7. Now no doubt they were taking the piss out of him, (who widnae when someone embarrasses themselves like that) but he repeatedly pushed stewards aside to try to get at W7. And his punishment was simply to be led back to his seat each time. No high def cctv needed to identify and remove that bampot, but strangely even the stewards he was pushing around did nothing.
this repetitive tit for tat on social media makes the club look poor, no matter what did, or did not occur. Ffs somebody think first, think twice and decide if you really have to become the new Statement FC..?

I think those who disliked Gus beforehand are looking for any reason to hound him out again.
He’s had one transfer window, during the tougher part of the season when there are few going for free (hence the loans). Hladky, Popescu and Muzek look better than what we have, and Nazon looks like a decent addition. We certainly look better going forward now as well, at least we are creating chances now.
It would be better to judge Gus after the summer window when more players are available to bring in. Some find it easy to forget he’s the one who brought us players like Dorman, Sutton, Higdon, Haining and Carey. He’s proven himself before in this regard. Unfortunately some out there just can’t see past their dislike for a man who did a fantastic job for us.

This thread is going to be a mess, with the usual couple of self-righteous old wankers giving it the "why don't you follow the rules" shite.
It has been obvious for a while the club has been doing their best to put an end to the group attempting to bring some atmosphere to the stadium. The over-policing of Scottish football is ridiculous. What incidents have we even had at the ground since it opened?
As I said on another thread, the people running our club are quite happy to go and sit in the Ibrox boardroom toasting the queen while our fans get objects and spit showered on them, happy to hand over the stadium to Celtic and Sevco every time they come and let them do whatever they want, but not bothered in the slightest that they are driving fans of all generation away from the club.

One thing i really noticed our crossing is dreadful

I've always been right behind Kearney. But I'm struggling to stick up for him. Tactics. team selection has been dodgy. He was brought in to improve things and has not. And finally Gus MacPherson waste of a wage.
 
 

I wish they would get some sort of technology to catch all those pesky motorists who don't indicate , they seem to be a majority  , now that would be a wee money spinner . .

I had many a good evening in there with my long-term girl friend!!!

1. Both Oran and Ross inherited a sh!t storm.
2. Oran had five more games than Ross before the end of the January window but both started after the summer window was closed.
3. By the end of January, both managers had picked up a total of 9 points through 3 draws and 2 wins.
 
I fully expect history to repeat itself and we will win the league next year after avoiding relegation this year.
