With the reported St Mirren support numbers at Sundays game, all our season ticket holders could be a accommodated in the main & family stands.

As a business plan, exploiting the rangers & celtic horde in this way improves the financial return even more.

It might be "a bit tight" but all our season ticket holders would be accommodated and the club has maximised revenue.

It is what your whole argument has been based on

Not so much a boycott as following company procedure!

If anyone can go to this game today and look at both stands behind our goals full of Rangers supporters without feeling physically sick then you have a stronger stomach than me.

..... This whole sorry affair has made me more angry with the club than anything else has since my first season as a fan in  '67/'68. ....... (except maybe when they swapped Lex Richardson for Eric Sinclair) ..... Much as I would love to see our ground filled with our own fans every week,  I'm not idealistic enough to believe it'll ever happen, and I'm pragmatic enough to acknowledge that it probably never will. .....

The bottom line is we should not be having this conversation the vast majority dont want the family stand given to the old firm. Unfortunately no one is listening in the board room. We are numbers like all walks of life. 

97+ years in the top division without resorting to this type of business and we managed fairly well.



What about morally?

That's unlikely to happen.
Despite some dreamers we have a ceiling in support so where we are is, IMO, close to that.
So, forget this idea we can fill the ground and focus on are the fact we doing a disservice to the actual fans, not the imaginary ones, who are being treated in a shocking manner? 

Children's ticket prices pitched to discourage attendance giving rise to the defence that kids don't attend.

Season tickets not valid for a full stand knowing full well many will not want to transfer to another part of the ground.

None of the regular incentives to encourage attendance take place.

I think he has a very good point here.

Everything is engineered to support the decision to take the easy money from the OF.

Oh the sweet irony.... the very things the club have ditched to accomodate sectarianism, on the very decision the chairman promised repeatedly he wouldn't implement without consulting smisa members and the support.
I hope Chris Sutton highlights the sheer shortsightedness of it on BT sport. Shame on the board for shutting out the club's future!

...... Agreed. We are never going to have 6000+ season ticket holders. I can't think of a club of a similar stature who has. ...... I also can't think of a club of a similar stature who sells their home end to the OF when they come to town. ....

..... My shifts at work determine which games I can attend these days. ...... I'm free to go to the next home game but I definitely won't be in attendance though, and nor will my young daughter. .......... Two home fans who would normally attend but won't. ....... That's just for starters, I'm sure there will be many more like us. ...
