  1. I remember that I was in a quite fortunate position (depending on how you look at it) that I seemed to know a few members of each of the Paisley gangs in the 80s, so almost always managed to avoid any grief. Think it was a combo of living in the East End, supporting the Buds and having mates in Ralston that helped. The Seedhill Young Squad, Ganja Derry, YPen (Penilee), REMO and GYTO are the ones that spring to mind. Not forgetting the short lived Craigton Knife Club. A collection of racist, skinhead arseholes that seemed to patrol the Glasgow Rd. Thankfully, most of them have since OD'd on smack....

  2. just playing devils advocate,so what if jack ross ain't good enough and total failure, loads of guys on here saying we not got any better and can't understand ross tactics or formations,so do we still stick by him because our board made at least 4 horrendous appointment's,for one a believed we needed an experienced manager, not another rookie but rookie it was,and we still bottom of table,so basically jack ross can be a horrendous manager but because of reasons above he safe in job even if 80 odd applicants went for job?no one should expect or believe to have safe job, especially when bottom of table, terrible decision

    Anyone got any paracetamol?
  3. I take the point about Kathryn Joseph, she can come across as a more bitter Tori Amos.
One album I forgot about was Aidan Moffat's Where You're Meant to Be with the accompanying film, an absolute gem.
Unfortunately Pixies Head Carrier wouldn't make my top albums this year.

Agree with you on the Pixies album. One or two cracking songs buy disappointing overall.
  4. WTF - who wears the trousers?!!! I've never owned a dog myself but I do know that to have one you need to be assertive. Here's your chance to get some practice in.
Pick a name and tell her no matter what she calls it, you'll only be calling it the name you chose. The wife will soon cave in.

I'm going to take this with a pinch of salt in the hope that you aren't actually being serious, but I have my doubts. I can be assertive. Here's an example. I think you're an arsehole and I won't let anyone tell me otherwise.
  5. So, I'm getting a Border Collie in January and I want a Saints themed name for him. The problem is, the wife says naw to that plan. Any suggestions to names that are Saints related but she won't realise? I've already rejected Loser and Relegation so the usual grumpy f**ks need not respond... Ta.
