Read a couple of Hiassen books, HHiBSS, Striptease being one, but can't remember the other title. Very good I thought. Any recommendations for others? 1. On my very first day at work as a sales rep I had an excellent call in a DIY store and sold in loads of stock. I was so grateful by the end of the meeting that while I was doing the customary post meeting handshake I leaned forward and kissed the customer (female) on the cheek. I have absolutely no idea why I did it, and I had a reddy for about 3 hours after it. 2. Telling my mate that my sister had bought me a shite birthday present, while she was standing behind me. She'd saved up for about a month to buy it and burst into tears. That still cuts me up to this day.

I was there too Howard. Absolutely appalling gig. The crowd didn't move for about an hour and a half, until they finally played Paranoid Android. I gave them one last chance at the SECC a couple of years ago, but that was shite as well. Not interested any more.

Radiohead are the best example of this ever. Thom Yorke disappeared up his own arse. Anybody who says they enjoyed the "experimental" stuff of Kid A and Amnesiac is either a liar or tone deaf.

I've seen the Pumpkins 3 times Howard, at Barrowlands, SECC and Reading Festival. Would love to see them again though. Absolutely tremendous live, though Billy Corgan is a bit of a pretentious tit.
