AFAIK they split up years ago. May be wrong. If not, replace them with Jimi Hendrix. Fairly sure he's deid.

.....because they've split up, chucked it or died. In no particular order: 1. Sex Pistols 2. Stone Roses 3. Exploited 4. Pearl Jam 5. Led Zeppelin
  5. I am absolutely feckin' delighted at this news. Gus and SG, you are a pair of geniuses (or is it genii?)
  6. On a positive note, I thought John Potter looked good today. Pretty solid, although in a team full of defenders it wouldn't be hard to shine. Murray was vital, Keano ran all day but couldn't get past the 11 wheelie bins in their penalty box. Their tactics and game plan worked a treat, but I'm with Div on this in thinking that it is early days, Gus is obviously still experimenting (although I thought that was what pre season was for), and that we will improve. Shame Ian Ross has lost his touch though. He was mince.
  7. That's only a small step away from the Pot Noodle sandwich Bill. Watch yersel and don't get carried away now.
  8. Now now chaps. I can't help it if I have exquisite taste, though I do wish Greggs would supply linen napkins and silver cutlery.
  9. Depeche Mode - Violator Echo and the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak Conflict - The Ungovernable Force Coldplay - X and Y ( used to hate Coldplay and still think Chris Martin is a bunnet, but this album is magnificent.)
  10. Cheese and Onion Pastie Roast Beef Oval Bite Prawn Cocktail Oval Bite Chicken and Mango Mayo Sandwich Yumyum and for the main course..................
  11. Charlatans - Some Friendly Ride - Going Blank Again Embrace - The Good Will Out Faithless - No Roots New Order (Best of)
  12. Definitely a "blink and you'll miss him" kinda player Bill.
  13. Anyone remember Kelechi Okori? He was proper useless! I remember his debut when he'd obviously been told to man mark his opponent. He stuck to his task well, even as far as following him up the tunnel when he went off injured!
  14. Can you believe I have just bought the LA's album! Tremendous it is too.
  15. Jet black and very sticky at first Murdy! Lovely. If you can avoid the dry boak yer a better man than me.
  16. Not exactly sick but not exactly PC either, I seem to recall the ***'s being subjected to "I'd rather wear a turban than a sash"
  17. I feel a bit queasy. Bees lass - Lumpy Bolton Lass - Too big Addicks Lass - Chelsea Lass - Too many spiders Rangers Lass - Hingoot. Great idea though!
  18. So glad you can revel in my discomfort Bernard Sadist.

  20. Not through choice Bernard. Went to see Conflict in April at the QM. Jumping about like an anarchist loon, slipped in a beer puddle and ripped my ankle ligaments. Got carried out by 2 fat skinheads. Methinks those days might be over
  21. Jethro Tull - Aqualung Ben Folds - Songs for Silverman (Just bought today - highly recommended. Landed is a feckin' amazing tune) Idlewild - The Remote Part Jesus and Mary Chain - 21 Singles Rolling Stones - 40 Licks
  22. 1999 - 2000 game v Dungfermline - "Campbell, Campbell sit on yer arse". Class. I also agree the older stuff was much funnier and better than this new pish. Seems to turn into a competition each week to see who can invent the "most hilarious" song. Rubbish.
