I think Dreyer comes across as a bit of a shitbag, but there's definitely a player in there, like others I thought he
had his best game for us today, but really does need to grow a pair of baws...

Just watching this and Jack just spoke about W7 and  singing praises of Josh. Said club could have been more supportive. (Around 15 mins in)

The Old Firm don’t want eradicate bigotry, it’s what they thrive on . They cynically say they abhor it in public but it’s bullshit.

It’s becoming all too obvious that Gordon reads this forum. Sits there raging, agrees with Oaksoft, then releases a club statement. We live in a strange world.

Yet another PR howler from the club. Are they getting St Ricky to complile these statements?
the statement suggests it easy for someone to twist the truth without hard evidence, but then goes onto make a series of allegations without... guess what? Yip hard evidence! The statement also goes onto say that this debate shouldnt Be happening on social media... yes, thats right the very same statement released across all major social media platforms!
wrapped up by suggesting the need for a local MP is going to act as arbitrator/peacemaker ffs! Talk about fanning the flames!
are the SLO's sidelined in all this, or not seen as neutral go betweens?
cant pretend to know what did, or did not happen in the vommitory (what a phrase) of W7 but must ask?
Why was the injured fan on a stretcher not simply taken out the emergency exit of the stand he was in? Why bump him across the empty corner into the St Mirren choir in the first place?
secondly, what i did see clearly from as far away W3, that while the injured fan was being tended to in that corner of the away end. A United fan sat 30 yards away charged at the W7 section about four or five times, waving 'come ahead' to W7. Now no doubt they were taking the piss out of him, (who widnae when someone embarrasses themselves like that) but he repeatedly pushed stewards aside to try to get at W7. And his punishment was simply to be led back to his seat each time. No high def cctv needed to identify and remove that bampot, but strangely even the stewards he was pushing around did nothing.
this repetitive tit for tat on social media makes the club look poor, no matter what did, or did not occur. Ffs somebody think first, think twice and decide if you really have to become the new Statement FC..?

Disappointed with that club statement if totally honest.
For them to claim there was spitting and coins flung at supporters but at the same time say the cameras couldn’t pick up the culprits. What sense does that make ?
Also the thing about facts was rather contradicting when they themselfs don’t have any facts going by what they’ve written above! Shambles.

I agree a meeting is much needed. It’s not about 1 persons behaviour it’s about people getting wrongly targeted by police officers. Allegations like this without any evidence make the club look stupid.

I hope the meeting with the club and police goes better than this thread.
There are some issues of real concern regarding the way our fans are being treated, principally by the police but also by stewards.
I was also in the ‘if you do nothing wrong you’ve got nothing to worry about camp’ but some things that have happened to our fans particularly the younger ones are in my opinion completely out of order.
This issue is far bigger than one individual fan his conduct and how he is treated, by concentrating on this the thread is entirely missing what the real purpose of the tripartite meeting should be.
Some of the patronising and condescending comments put on this thread do the posters no favours at all and only show they are ready to rush to judge.

Rightly or wrongly, JR connected with a wider section of the fan Base than Danny or Gus. The trip wouldn't have been one I would have chosen to make but it looks like the guys had a good time and appear to have been a credit to our club. Live and let live.

Sounds like both parties need to get round the table and clear the air.

If the banner was rejected beforehand and still displayed then the stewards have every right to confiscate but their does seem to be an air of double standards considering Celtic seem to have quite freely produced their own banner without similar repercussions.

The W7 lads are clearly frustrated right now and by the sounds of it, justifiably so. I would certainly be demanding answers from the club if information was given out about me resulting in an unwarranted approach from the police regardless of whether the club are legally obligated to do so.

    Not going.

    Reasons....

    1. £12 for a kickabout is a f**king joke.

    2. My ex-brother in law is a Mackem and he's an utter prick of a human being.
    3. See above but substitute "ex-brother in law" for Stuart Dickson

    4. Jack Ross. Nice bloke. Sneaky bastard.

    Exactly my thoughts.
Cooke, especially, is a million miles off the quality we need.
Kellerman might, maybe, possibly, turn out okay. The jury's out on him so far...
King looked like he realised tonight that, even this early, he probably hasn't got it. Shame, as he looks hungry enough...
Coulson is an absolute belter of a signing though.

Terrible performance , we should be seeing teams like this off easily. I'm willing to say right now that King , Cooke and Kellerman will all fail to make the required grade for the Premiership . I'll cut  Heaton some slack , ropey as he was , he  looked as if he may just be able to adjust up the way !

Think Livvy was a massive wake up call and Donati is exactly what we need against the likes of them and Dumbarton. Short term contract, fight like hell and take some yellow cards. Nothing lost. We've been lacking a bit of aggression and I personally think he fits the bill. Good signing.
