You think so? With The Rangers and Hearts in 'Fizzy Pop 1' next season? In that list of players, how many will stick with us? Wave goodbye to the loanees such as Newton, Campbell and Magennis. Kello would be poached, Thommo' will be 36 and looking to management or media work. A groin injury suffering Teale would likely retire. We couldn't keep McGinn... Could go on all day. Income down, the whole shooting match up the Swanee without much of a paddle.
Go down this season, with The Rangers, Hearts, and Fizzy Pop battle hardened outfits like Falkirk and Hamilton and I predict our club would be set back anywhere between five and seven seasons, until a new team emerges from the wreckage.
Relegation should worry all of us - this season more than most.

Great performance today, Not one failure in the team, Great to see our two young full backs bombing up and down the wing, McLean was fantastic today again, and scored with his right foot, Collum is easily the worse ref in Europe, Guy is a donkey, sorry to all Donkey's, Danny Lennon hopefully will keep proving all his doubters wrong and I include myself in that, Win next week will move us up another place, COYs

Living in Dundee I don't think I will be able to show my face all week. That is the worst I have ever seen St. Mirren play in the Premier League. Going forward every player was devoid of ideas with the exception of McLean. McGinn's crossing was woeful, Thompson never chased anything that wasn't within 5 yards of him and McGowan never plays well when those around him are having a mare.

The game passed Goodwin by. So many times the Utd midfield walked by our whole midfield without a challenge going in. The defence never knew whether to step out and attack the ball or player due to the huge gap in front of them and that left Utd with a huge space in which to pick us off from whether that be in front of, or behind the back 4.

The subs summed up our lack of options going forward. Caprice is a terrible footballer. One promising break away all he had to do was go towards the ball and he had a clear run but instead he waited on it and the Utd player intercepted. Any other time he had the ball he attempted a step over and then lost the ball.
The subs also resulted in Kenny McLean playing the holding role after looking like the only player we had to unlock Utd the full game.

Lennon left the bench once in the 2nd half. Surely when the team is struggling the manager has to be out there, willing the players to close down the opposition and chase down lost causes. You can't do anything from the back of the bench. Time up....

Do you really think so? I don't. I don't believe Scottish Football's scouting network is fit for purpose these days. It's certainly not set up to find those players who are small for their age at 8 or 9 years old, but who catch up physically with their contemporaries when they turn 14, 15 and 16. There is also far too much nepotism in the game these days. There is also a strange attitude within the game - right down to Junior level - where the preference seems to be for clubs to sign players who have had a chance and failed at the level above, rather than looking to those who are succeeding at a lower level and who look ready to step up. It's quite bizarre.

Our highest finish under Lennon was when we had a experienced spine to the team. : Samson - Mair - Goodwin - Thompson. Not hard to see Danny!

Most think Goodwin was our best player yesterday.
McGregor isn't the answer. He has a little bit of flair about him for a centre half which fans like but really, he isn't that good.

I agree. Cheesy and McGregor can't play together and Goodwin is needed in midfield unless we actually sign a defensive minded midfield. Mair is our best defender.

Don't necessarily disagree with you, but what a really depressing thought that is.

Chris Smith needs a bit more respect. Not a great keeper but done a job for us in 1st division. Honest professional who I wish best of luck to in his new career.
