I don't understand the abuse the young Keeper gets.
Done nothing wrong and was comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Usual Killie 2 best players in the shape of Tess and Sammy both excellent.
Boyd who was rotten but still scores against us lost our defence far too easy from a cross.
Good to see McGregor back and still our biggest threat when he is in the oppostion box
But it's 2 points dropped though and would be nice if we could get in a pacier forward in to stretch the game
Today showed how one paced we are

On another note it was interesting listening to Open All Mics this afternoon to hear Alan Preston tell of how coaches at Pro Youth Initiative Level hate the Under 20's set up. He refused to name the Chairman, but he said that one Scottish Premiership Chairman had said to him that Initiative football was killing the game in this country - he said others were also coming to the same conclusion. He was joined by other fellow ex pros who talked about the culture of "shirt fillers" - players recruited just to make up the numbers. They talked about the wastage within the game where thousands of kids are being take onto the scheme at 11 years old only to be told they aren't good enough the following year, and they talked about the number of kids released at the age of 16 who aren't supported in finding a club that might allow them to continue to develop the game out with the Initiative Scheme incase they might be late developers. And Alan Preston rounded it off talking about how each club will have at least 100 players on their pro youth initiative programme when a club will hardly ever run with more than 23 players in the first team squad. He suggested that we return to the old S' Form system where clubs could only sign up to 25 players on S Forms across all age groups.
It was interesting to me because it's exactly what I and others involved in juvenile football have been saying about pro youth football for almost a decade now. It simply is not fit for purpose. Preston also went on to slate Scotland Under 21 manager Billy Stark for his team selection against England on Tuesday night and Richard Gordon was about to bring up the topic of what all that criticism meant in regard to Mark Wotte's position within the SFA but there was a poorly timed goal from somewhere and the conversation was dropped.
It is time we had a proper rethink about our national game and the way we develop our kids and it's about time we had a more efficient structure that shares resources. The pro youth set up simply hasn't worked. The current Under 20's set up just means that fewer players are progressing into first team squads from the age of 16 - as Paul Lambert did - and that for many the first time they will play against an adult will be when they are 21.

Think you're getting a bit mixed up with the 2 players in question.Renfurm did the thigh-grabbing thing, but it was at Tynecastle. I remember it very clearly. He was too lazy to chase a ball and when the screams came from the Saints fans, he pretended to limp and held his leg. He didnt last long after that.
Moussa was half decent. Scored a few goals, including one against Utd in what turned out to be his last game of a loan spell. The only reason we never extended it was because he picked up a knock that meant he'd be out of action for up to 4 weeks. He was starting to look pretty handy as well.
But, the best memory of him. In his first game (can't remember who we played) he was awarded MOM over the tan not in the last few minutes of the match. Next thing, he starts shaking hands with the opposition players while waiting for a kick out!! Brilliant!

Paul McGowan isn't an example of the "good old days". He's an example of the modern day trend of big rich clubs hoarding players.
And even then, he was in the Morton first team playing regularly at the age of 19.

£20 is a lot and I think it is too dear in isolation... ... but if kids prices are right it is acceptable.
Thistle have it spot on imo...
£20 for adults and under 16s free.
I'm taking in their second home game tonight as a neutral due to their fair pricing.

We didn't spend much the season after winning the cup.
We bought players from lower leagues Dawson,Walker, McWalter,Conroy and Martin.
The last 2 after we raked in a million for Ferguson.
It was Fitzpatrick who was reckless with the money after that season

Not long back from what was a fantastic couple of days
Some thoughts (in no particular order)
All the Londoners we met were friendly and helpful The Met could teach a few forces around the country on how to police events properly We have got a fantastic support Trafalgar Square has never looked so good The vast majority of England fans are top notch The transportation links down there are second to none Wembley never fails to impress Brent is a bit of a dump Joe Hart is pish Kyle Walker is a thug James Morrison is going to be a big star We're better going forward than back Strachan has rejuvenated the team England rely too much on pace Kenny Miller looks like my mate Derek Leicester Saint doesn't get invited to parties

Some members of the Tartan Army brought bin bags with them and were tidying up in and around their area of Trafalgar Square.
The boys and girls of the T.A. are just having fun and have no intention of abusing or offending anyone.
They are just like fans of a Scottish provincial Club but only on a much more massive scale.
They are in love with the beautiful game.
We all know which sets of fans urnae.

Very impressive scoring record according to the Southport website. Six goals from no appearances. If he doesn't play for us could he bag 15 this season?

I like Richard as a person, he's a hell of a nice bloke as anyone who has taken the time to talk to him will testify.
He never had anything but the best intentions for the club and I still remain convinced that fan ownership is the way forward for a club like ours.

Would like to say all above to be true.
But if the rumour is to be true we are interested in Barrowman then i think we are entering the panic buy stage.
Also shopping in the bargin bin as well
I think they have misjudged the situation with our own youngsters thinking some of them would be ready.
When as the friendlies shown they aren't there yet.
I think they have handled the summer badly

    Entirely up to the clubs.
    That's why I didn't go to Inverness. ..
They wanted £37 for me and the lad (who is 15).
We went to Firhill instead and it cost £20 for us both as under 16's are free.
THAT is sensible pricing... we're going back this Friday too.

They can talk to the cows come home in this country about footballing skills, keeping fans dry, developing young players and having family sections etc but the bottom line is that if the game is too dear then people will vote with their wallets/purses. Without sounding like Shull (a good guy though) we seriously need to consider how we make the game more affordable and get bums on seats. People go to the cinema and watch a movie, eat their sweets, popcorn etc and get a bus home for less than a football game. I know it is chalk and cheese but it is still all about entertainment and value for money. Charging £20 or more means that those living on the breadline or struggling to make ends meet will not go to an expensive game when the £40 that may be charged for a Dad and boy would feed the family for a week or pay for something else. Time to have a look at what the Germans and other Europeans charge for watching their sport and which is generally of a much higher standard.

I don't know about not good enough.
But you're right he not a target man or someone with pace for an out ball.
    He's an attacking midfield player.
We should have had 2 forwards in by now.
    Poor show
