  1. like the type of manager who took the job at queen of the south for instance
  2. very soon is very soon and if you keep saying very soon then your not lying, just delaying
  3. well maybe you should have went to a meeting that concerned saints, what meeting were you at - AA ?
  4. hope so too, but - the wider community bit doesn't fill me with hope, i want whatever happens to be for the good of the club in terms of staying in the top league, i'd still go if we were in any league mind
  5. your using smileys again - are you angry
  6. shh i'm not going on about him - remember
  7. well if it keeps them grumpy let them be, personally i think david barron makes the most mistakes in our team - when he plays that is - but i won't go on about him
  8. well the papers and the bbc blamed him for lee mairs foul on corcoran, he must be guilty of something
  9. yes but that's just your opinion, i don't have to believe anything you have posted, and that's why i used the word "suggests" rather than "confirms" because it hasn't been confirmed,
  10. so am i after watching denise welch on big brother
  11. the other thread suggests that the CIC mark 2 is no more and a new deal is afoot
  12. ouch you asked for that answer you got, as for the status quo - the quality is down down deeper and down
  13. I sincerely hope it is good for the club, i would rather the wider community were not involved but have to admit it looks like they have to be involved to get funding
  14. so does that mean he and the others are going to buy the club then call in all the direct debits for cic and community/business pledges, and then let them know what kind of say they have in it ?
  15. some rubbish on another post says this guy is on way to saints
  16. still in our thoughts Derek, i remember this photo of us being referred to as "three managers"
  17. it's ok powerpoints rip ma tights, you've answered it for me, although i would have thought that directors/secretaries would be the only employees , what other jobs would be involved ? as for dividends they would not amount to much which is fine as it's the future of the club that matters
  18. from what i read up on cic's only directors or a secretary can take remuneration from the funds (salary/expenses) any money left after paying these salaries has to remain in the cic after that, and it will be a long time before the cic would be in profit - if ever at all
  19. i agree with lochwinnoch saint, i do not think enough people will come forward to be members, if they were interested why did they not pledge for the original cic ? i looked at the original cic and didn't fancy it, from what i've read on here i will take a lot of persuasion that #2 will work, mainly because if enough people did come forward and become members then meetings would be overcrowded, with so many people having so many different opinions it could turn into mayhem and farce, i have other concerns but do not wish to get into endless debate about them, i will stick to investing in property, i will read and perhaps comment on the subject but will not subscribe to it for the time being
  20. indeed i'd rather like to see people with a good few years experience of running a football club being in charge of a cic (sg for example) i am aware that would be unlikely, so i am concerned that we could go down a long road of learning from mistakes and take a long time to get back up that road, unless of course we have experienced football people on board already
  21. competition is always a good thing, keeps people on their toes
