Highly amusing that the Morton media manager decided to announce Broadfoot was signing for Morton....only to realise he had the wrong end of the stick and delete the post!
Morton fans seemed to have their hope up too and aren't too happy getting a St Mirren player on loan instead

Looks like Goodwin is "putting his mark on the team"
Baird sent to Greenock, and McGinn sat in the stand.
Oddly enough, similar to what Alex Rae did to freeze Goodwin out when he took over.
I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Baird playing for us again.

It still beggars belief that some people continue to jump the gun on stuff like this.
What beggars belief is that there is anyone left posting on this website tbh.

We're fine in midfield, up front and in wide areas. It is the defence that needs cover, as Saturday proved. We only have five natural defenders on the books, not counting youngsters. Would like to see an extra centre half, particularly given Mackenzie's injury record, and cover at full back.
We have created a host of good chances for Andreu, Morias and Obika to blow. None of these guys look like they have any idea where the back of the net is. We either need to rapidly build up their confidence and match sharpness, or bring in someone to play alongside Danny Mullen.
Andreu in particular could do with a bit of competition for his place.

The fool that started this thread could have started a Jack Ross thread the other night when they put Burnley out the cup surely?
Or any of the 5 wins in a row over previous weeks?
We took a few heavy defeats under Jack too. Still had a league title to celebrate at the end of the year.

The strikers need good service, they’re not getting it. You could see the frustration with Obika when Andreu hit one past the post when if he’d left it, Obika would have burst the net. Just about every cross from the right missed everyone in the box.
Give the strikers the service then we can judge them.Based on evidence so far, the net would have been safe enough had the ball reached Obika.

We are 1 point worse off than Hamilton, Hibs, Kilmarnock and Ross County
We see how well RC did against the Dons today - 3 v 0 whereas we beat them...
We are also a point above Hearts and the Fakes....
2 good results in the next 2 games and we will be top 6 or there abouts . ..
Livi simply played to their strengths and we did not . . . sure JG will take note for the return fixture . . .
One thing I will say is that opening day result at Easter Road doesn't look so good now. They are shipping goals all over the place.
We are a bit toothless upfront with the current selection. McAllister is creating chances, Mullen should be starting as striker and not given 5 or 10 minutes at the end of games. The main job of a striker is to put the ball in the net, 2 goals in total so far is concerning.

That f*****g surface is a disgrace. It’s supposed to be professional football, but that and Hamilton’s pitches are an absolute joke!
It beggars belief they are able to get away with it.
At some point in the future we will look back on this fiasco and wonder how it was allowed to happen.

Some of these comments again ffs
Are you going to turn this in to a 45 page thread arguing with us that we didn't actually lose today?

We need to ask questions of our scouting system, it's f**kin shocking the amount of heidless chickens we bring in.
It looks like a mixed bag to say the least.

Looks like it is going to be a depressing season again unless things can be turned round - but by who?
Playing Danny Mullen as our main striker would be a start. Both Obika & Junior have had pretty easy chances in the last two games that Danny would have put away no problem.

Plenty of time for that next game should start it.
The canary in the coal mine.

It was a decent second half performance until we went two up and started lumping the ball forwards. Should stick to our game.
Some of the problems of the summer recruitment clear to see there. Woeful defending at points, and neither Obika or Junior seem to have any idea as to where the goal is.
Some promising passages of play though. A bad day at the office but no need to panic.

This ref really isnae very good.
Looks like a wankstain too.
-
Disgusting to see players faking head injuries.
Should be an automatic ban.
-
Missing easy chances at one end, giving away criminal goals at the other.
Long season ahead if we keep that up.

I'm not impressed by our forward play so far
Sorry
Sadly have to agree. We are capable of more though.

When we don’t give it away they’re pinching it from our midfieldersThat's what they have done for years hit it long first opportunity then harass for 2nd ball.
And doing it rather well.
Lets hope we have some fresh ideas for the second half.

Wendy will be still comparing managers to the yardstick Stubbs in 20 years time. He's thoroughly obsessed.
Just stick the tedious gimp on ignore. It is obviously some disorder he has that causes all the attention seeking.

I was 50/50 about going today, however when I seen the price it was an easy decision, I won’t be giving them my money. How can they justify this price? How many fans do they bring to stmirren, 150-200 ? If they had any sense they would charge the minimum they are allowed to charge and generate more money from the food and drink sales
Stay off Dragon's Den, bud.

All the pundits think the same
They don't see where the goals are going to come from
2-0 Livi
The "pundits" don't know anything about us. You should know better though.
We created a good 5 or 6 chances against Aberdeen, could have won that game by a lot more. We will create chances today.

Why would anyone who chose to watch a Saints game on video or TV need to see any signage. It would be as much of a waste of money as the Graffiti art on the walls which shows images of players, unfortunately the images don't look very much like the players they are meant to portray.
It was a good idea. Sadly the artist must have been paid up front and invested his considerable salary in Buckfast before starting work.

I take it you did not watch Sportscene highlights if not try YouTube. Ross County's defence was horrendous the worst I have seen in a long time. If County dont sort that out they will go down.
They kept clean sheets in their other two games against Hamilton and away to Hearts. Livingston obviously did something right to unsettle them.

If you had tried to wave a phone about that day it would have ended up getting belted about 20 rows in front of you. People were lost, bones were smashed....a phone would have had no chance
