For some reason I didn't write anything about the day on here at the time so here goes. My mum and dad came along with me, my mum had never seen us win, so that was a bit of a risk. Dad drove us to Crewe and we got on the train, there was a lot of support for both teams on that train when it arrived in Glasgow, we got to the ground pretty early, it was our first visit to Hampden, as the teams kicked off I shivered as the massive saints support chanted COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!, I grabbed some guy in front when ISMA scored, and I ran down the steps at the final whistle, as I have always wanted to do since I saw the footage of 87, the year that I was born. At the bottom I saw the same guy I had grabbed earlier and grabbed him again, we walked back to central station and I was knackered at work the next day, but who cares I had seen MY team win at the national stadium.

Another performance like this wouldn't go a miss.

We have some of the most talented individuals in years at the club, and a squad which should be performing far better than it is.
Other managers would get a whole lot more out of that team. I'm certain of that.

399 mins without a league goal and we have failed to score in 6 of our 8 away games in the league to date.
Adam Campbell looks like he will add pace to our attack and for me that is the main thing we are lacking.
Isma arriving last January transformed our season, only hope the wee ginger ninja can have the same impact.

A welcome and deserved 3 points which sees us rise to 8th. A lot more difficult than it should have been though, County were rubbish and indisciplined.
Would like to see us leave County, Partick and Killie behind now and really push up the table. Beat Hibees next week and we'll be 7th.

I dont care who is in charge, but can we just play our strongest team and have players playing in their proper positions. Simple 4-4-2.

The frustrating thing is, I don't think we have bad players. Bad tactics and a negative attitude is costing us dear at the moment.
The players must be as frustrated as we are. They need leadership and something new to spur them on. Danny has completely lost the dressing room, never been more evident.

I seldom start threads, and I slept on this before deciding to post it, but feel it had to be done.
The booing at HT and FT yesterday was a fucking embarrassment.
We had two players making their home debuts yesterday, and what a welcome they were given. Particularly grim, though, was to watch Cornell, Newton and a few forlorn others actually applauding the stands at the end to a chorus of booing. It was sickening.
Now, before anyone jumps in with the line that they've paid their money, and have a right to express how they feel, or the other old favourite about it being down to how passionate they feel about the club, blah....blah...blah, I'm simply stating my opinion on this matter.
If anyone actually believes that anything positive will be achieved by booing you own team off the park, then they need to have a long hard look at themselves. You don't have to be a psychologist to work it out. If the players and manager are already feeling the pressure and something is amiss at the club, then being subjected to this sort of teatment is going to achieve nothing good.
Whether you blame the manager, the players, or the BoD, all they will have heard collectively is booing. Indiscriminate booing. It is moronic.
To be honest, I reckon this type of behaviour is more likely to put people off coming along to SMP to take in a match than what is happening on the pitch. It has certainly made me glad for the international break.

I remember Samson punching a corner into his own net under no pressure at all live on sky at home vs rungers, somehow the ref gave a free kick. Then Samson did get a lot better, so Im sure Cornell will be fine and fans will be singing his praises by the end of the season.
