  1. Same here in Bangkok. C O M E O N Y E S A I N T S
  2. FFS Bud. TKF. This afternoon was all about keeping the Celtic in a false sense of security. Next weekend is a new ball-game.
  3. Agree with that. I can't believe what OldCo were up to was isolated. I have read it was common practice at the time in the EPL. If my memory is correct, when this started, OldCo were seen very much a test case. So there may still be something for the taxman to go after. I hope they appeal.
  4. Well done Monty to take 5.
  5. I don't really care how their learned Lordships found it. What Rangers done was at best bending the rules, and at worst cheating. These concepts are not welcome in the sporting environment. To my mind they were, are and always will be untrustworthy cheats. Close them down forever.
  6. Yes, I did read on ... during my lunch break. Now I have time read on some more. A lot of interesting stuff there. I didn't know it was a follow-on the excellent RangersTaxCase thing. Learn something every day.
  7. Who could have predicted it? From afar .. it is being a good killing. p.s. Well done thread starter Bluto. (But I guess there may have been a queue.)
  8. This thread now has nearly 2000 replies. Apart from the 3 word story, etc (remember that one? I enjoyed it.) this must be one of the B&W army's longest threads. The funny thing is it should have only needed one post - Rangers are done. Goodbye to them.
  9. ... yes not as funny, but possible more accurate. The bit I don't quite understand is why oldco, millions in debt, did not have to sell ALL their assets (to pay their debts to HM and others) before Chas was allowed to step in. British public ripped-off again? Is it all over? Is there more to come?
  10. I used to think Jimmy was a great guy. How the hell could British society (whoever/whatever they may be) allow the monster we are now told he was survive?
  11. Why is this still going on? I really wish it was over, once and for all, 'Rangers,' 'Newco,' 'THE Rangers' or whatever they choose to call them should have been gone months ago, Shower of crooks and still going on. I write this as a sports fan, and UK citizen. People should face up to reality. They cheated us; you, me and every other British citizen. Goodbye to them. They or their survivors can be allowed keep their ill-gotten gains; titles, etc, because they mean nothing now.. But they should be made to give all their assets (any left?) to pay back what hey have stolen from the public and then they should be closed them down. If that hurts the pocket of Scottish football, then that's too bad. Pride and integrity are more important.
  12. Looks like the expert recommendation is 'don't buy.' The non-expert (me) says the same. Buy RBS instead.
  13. Back on topic .... no matter what ....bye-bye to the cheats
  14. I was more thinking about them getting pelted with rotten eggs, etc, as they walk south.
  15. Just read it on BBC .... ... they are offered a place in Div 3. Vote was 25 out of 30. More than they deserve.
  16. Gales honey. Wow! There are some things you just can' get here in Bangkok.
  17. Just read a bit dated 7 July on the BBC Website ... And Scottish Football Association chief executive Stewart Regan warned the game faced a "slow, lingering death" if the Ibrox club had to re-start in Division Three. On the economic debate McCoist added: "It's the first time I have heard anyone from the SFA speak about the game in a financial sense (Methinks .. Eh? Sorry, don't believe that one) but then we have the argument that is the financial aspect more important than the massive aspect of integrity and honesty of the Scottish game? (Methinks "Of course not.") "They might want to put us in SFL1 with more sanctions - I don't know if that is the case. "We have a transfer embargo hanging over us but how can I operate with a transfer embargo when I only have six players? (As many as 6. That's a surprise.) It's impossible and it's just madness. "I have in the region of six first team players at pre-season training right now, two of whom were regulars last season in the SPL. "We need to bring in the region of 10, 12 or even 14 players. I reckon since January we have lost close to 21 players(Seems like he has a problem with arithmetic.) "For the record, in terms of sanctions that have been imposed already, we were deducted 10 points, (In reality, that meant nothing.) we had our Champions League place taken away from us, (The champs league contenders will be relieved by that ... especially since you hadn't even qualified at that time) we were fined £160,000, we are out of Europe for another three years and, of course, we are out of the SPL. "I think that's quite a lot." Methinks, Yes it is 'quite a lot' but you shouldn't have cheated should you? Who do you think you are? Who is bigger, you (Rangers) or the sport of football. You have shown that for Rangers it's all about money, no matter what. You have been found out. You should be disbanded and your assets sold off to repay those you still owe ... unless that is the con-men have robbed you of any assets you had left. What an arrogant man Sally seems to have become. Absolutely shameful. Until recent events, I used to have some admiration (respect?) for Rangers' achievements whilst hating their arrogance, and the very sad fact that the reason for their success has nothing to do with football. It's all about hatred of the other lot. Sally seems caught in that loop, just like the rest of them. How sad for Rangers (and Celtic) along with the decent people of Scotland.
  18. Another excellent analysis of events to date at Rangertaxcase. http://rangerstaxcas...#comment-129806 I wonder who that blogger is? He seems well informed.
  19. Seems nothing less than common sense Bud. ... but when did common sense mean anything to those who run our game?
  20. Well .... they canny blame the butler this time.
  21. I am sure you are correct. It may have originally been called the East End church. At one time it was The HQ of Williamsbugh housing association; may still be. No idea what it is used for nowadays.
