Highlights the shite Stubbs wasted our budget on. No doubt that if JR had stayed we would have seen better quality brought in over the summer.
Aye Kellerman has played well

Aye Villa fans are creamin themselves a lot of them are saying it’s the best debut they have seen from a Villa player..
They are also laughing at the fact he was only £2.7mil..

Is this not a bit premature? We have a manager in place. I'm sure the Board has considered the possibility of JR leaving, but surely there's time enough for supporters to start speculating on another manager when we know that the present incumbent has gone? For what it's worth, I don't think whoever comes in will give us a season like the one we've just enjoyed.
No he has agreed terms with Sunderland ..

Well done young Lewis and all the best for your future,Thanks for everything past couple of seasons!
Now with your significant wage rise you can pay the tenner to get someone to iron yer shirts wi no tramlines ...

Most of the sheep worshippers i have spoke to at work have said they will be glad when he was gone.
He was good when he arrived and doesn't look interested or good enough anymore.
So really he should come back to us for some refresher training and gentlemans agreement..

Supposedly Hibs(poisonous little man, their manager) think he is worth £7million now!
33% of that wid be braw!

Do you think that the club have not expected to get anything from Kenny or Johns sell on fees?I believe they did and that is why the old board inserted that into any deal , this was caused by the fact Simsa couldn't raise their initial payment. I'm not in Simsa and didn't agree with the buy out , although up till now things look to be running quite well. But will go back to my original statement and say again that ,I don't agree that the old board shout get anything from players sales.
So if you don't agree with my opinion that's your choice , its my opinion and that's all it is
They don't get anything from player sales!!!
They just get from SMISA funds the agreed sale price earlier than anticipated which is a good thing going towards fan ownership!

2 managers in the space of a couple weeks showing loyalty over money !
Almost unheard of these days .
Sunderland are a sinking ship according to a Mackem work colleague.

Don't know why Wright hasn't been picked up by anyone already?
But my money would be Alex Neil

Really no point in selling as we'd be due a very nice development fee for him regardless of if he does leave at end of his contract.
I was sure he had another two years on it, though.
The problem with that way is the player tends to stop trying especially if a bid from a big club comes in and the wages that are on the table are substantially more.

Am away to have a few Stelios Artois tae celebrate!!

In a world of money grabbing, faux club badge kissers, it's rare to get genuine from the heart messages from pro footballers these days. We were blessed with having several guys in the team that saved us, who developed a real love for the club and its fans Sad that Billy isn't going to be coming back next season. Hope he gets set up soon with a good club. Definitely one of the good guys.
Thankfully Stephen McGinn falls into this category of non money grabbing.
He was instrumental in our survival and he had far better offers elsewhere but went with the heart rather than his agent!

U-20's won 2-1 v Indonesia today.
Ryan Hardie with both goals.
They play England in the semi on Thursday.
Magennis was a sub.
Thought England U20s are at the world cup just now?

Yes I liked Hinchy.
And you're probably right.
No Saints goalkeeper has ever come close to Dibble for me though, he really was the best. Ridiculous he never got capped for the full national team.
I agree should have been capped at least once although goalkeeper is the one position Scotland have always seemed to have strength in depth!
Leighton,Thompson,Goram all competing for the jersey around that time.
Hinchy is probably the last good solid keeper we had!

Doesn't matter if Ross has encouraged a discussion the fact is Ross's employers have denied him any discussion.
-
Surely an illegal approach if we have denied them permission to speak with him.

I worked using an umbrella company not good experience wouldn't do it again..
Normally you do get paid more under them however you have no entitlement to holiday pay as you are in a roundabout way self employed and not an "employee".
I only work as a LTD company now much less hassle and your more covered.
I suppose it all depends on what you are doing and how much paperwork you want to do.
