  1. Had a couple of enquiries about dress code for the night. No need for collar and bow tie etc Casual or Smart it's up to you.
  2. We will have the ASC trophy with us for the night. Many thanks to Chesterfield FC for kindly agreeing to loaning us the trophy.
  3. Naw silly. Mark works for polis through in Fife, so using contact in Police to get in touch hopefully
  4. Only players that we cannot get in contact with are John ' Jocky ' Dempster & Frank McDougal, with Frank we hope that the person that helped him with his book can get in touch with him in Brazil. I have to call Billy Thompson this afternoon Young and Fulton (contacting via Police) waiting on replies. So far 13 have indicated that they are coming along, 3 players we are in contact with, 2 still to get in contact with. So we have had a great response from the ex players, we also hope to have a good few players from current squad. When I called reception late last week they only had 51 tickets left, and still it's 3 weeks on Saturday till the event. SO GET YOUR TICKET SOON IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND.
  5. Had a conversation about that, and when you know the story he did a decent thing. He did what he thought was the right thing for the club. And he has not changed his mind. Iain was already coming over for couple of weeks holiday early June. So making plans to come over before that says a lot.
  6. I had a phone from Iain Munro at 5pm tonight and Iain has just confirmed that he WILL be attending the Legend's night. There are only 50 tickets left at reception get your tickets now looks like we will have almost a full squad. Now when I said I was going to try and get the Squad together a few said that I will not get a couple of names to come. Well we have got them well done Fans Council
  7. Andy Dunlop has been in touch, does not see why he can't attend but will confirm soon.
  8. We are trying to contact Billy through a 3rd party. All our pervious attempts failed. So hopefully we can get in touch with him via this other person. Will keep you posted
  9. Another name added to list of those attending Ricky McFarlane

  12. Had a 30 minute call from Iain early last night and he will get back to me next week. He would love to attend. A wee update on players that have now confirmed with us. Doug Somner, Jackie Copland, Alan Logan Jeff Curran, Campbell Money Jimmy Bone, Brian Docherty, Lex Richardson, Billy Stark, Alex Beckett, Peter Weir and Ricky McFarlane, of the others that played in the competition. We are waiting on word from Billy Thompson, John Young, Iain Munro, Mark Fulton, Bobby Torrance, Andy Dunlop. Frank McDougal is in Brazil and we are trying to contact him. Only player we have no contact with at the moment is John Dempster (anyone have contact with John) So it looks good for almost a full turnout from the players.
  13. Tony was brilliant with the kids at Robin House. Spent 4 hours there. I have read book and for any parent that has lost a kid it's a must. Lost my 1st child weeks after young Tony died and having to tell my other two kids about this later on would have been a lot easier with a book like this. Not only parents who have lost a child, all of us would be able to use this book. I wish Tony all the success in the world with trying to get school and hospitals to place this book or their bookshelves.
  14. Just had it confirmed that 2 members of the squad are coming to this evening Jackie Copland Doug Somner More to follow

  16. Sorry to hear that RIP Tom never knew you but heard all about you worked along side my late father in Roots. Got told all the stories about "how to watch out for his son going to be a great football player" and he was right.
  17. I take it thats a sort of apology, as far as ID badges thats up to you. We (Fans Council) were asked to wear our badges at the Topps event, so as members of the public know who we were when we were escorting them and their children through the stadium to the various activities that were happening on the day, this has also happened at all other events like the open day at the stadium recently, even yesterday at Braehead we were wearing them. My wife works for the Childrens Hospice Association Scotland and deals with Disclourse Scotland so i can assure you I know all about the law. So dont believe me its your choice, I know what i have said is true. Thats me done with posting on here. Cant be arsed with it all. Wish you guys happy posting and lets hope our Saints can get themselves out of this mess.
  18. This forum has been slowly dragged to gutter level with some of the personal abuse of club employees on various threads. I have not posted a lot on here for a while and have monitored the site more. Think its maybe ran its coarse, used to be fun, informative and some great threads.... NOW full of moaners. For me its time for a rest
