A BURN'S SUPPER ST MIRREN STYLE
Join us for a traditional Burns Nicht wi a Touch o' Tannahil

The first ever St Mirren Football Club Burns Supper is scheduled for Friday 23rd February 2018 - timed to avoid the height of the Burns Season making it even easier to attend!

The evening will of course be rich in the traditions of Burns with recitations and music of the highest quality but as Paisley is home to Robert Tannahill we'll be adding a Touch o' Tannahill to the proceedings.

The night, organised by the Fans Council on behalf of the Club, will take place in the Corporate Suite at St Mirren Park. Black and White Magazine's Gordian Mothersole will host an evening that will see top entertainment/folk singer, Burns aficionado and national treasure Alastair McDonald provide Burns song and verse.

Alastair will be joined by David Brown who's Tam o' Shanter and Holy Willie's Prayer will take you back in time.

Other speakers already booked include George Adam MSP, Chair o' SMiSA, the one and only Ian Brown, so much a St Mirren Fan he bleeds black and white, and the lady of the night to keep the men in order, Michelle Evans of PFA Scotland.

Doors open 7pm for dinner at 7.30pm prompt

Entry is by ticket only on the night. Please bring your ticket with you.

    Tables seat 10

Eventbrite will charge a processing fee.

  2. Sorry for delay in a reply here I never saw this question popping up.

Away back at the start of looking for a Scoreboard, Brian Caldwell looked into that option of having it rotate to face the road and be used as advertisement space. It could be done but was felt at the time as not an option. The costs to enable this was very expensive and put it out of reach for the club.

  3. Just to let you know that at the upcoming game this Saturday v Q.O.S. On 6th Feb

The SMFC Fans council are arranging a Foodbank collection at the game

Each of the turnstiles will have Foodbank collection Bins and fans are encouraged to support their local Foodbank by contribution to this food bank collection

Colin Haggerty Chairman of the SMFC fans council who is arranging the food bank collection stated - "We have arranged similar collections before and have always been really appreciative of the generosity of the fans to support less fortunate Buddies"

    Non perishable goods only.
