Well if that's the case some folk on here need to stop spouting shite about us having no money to pay new players as we're paying the ones we freed. That makes it even worse that Danny thinks he can let go experienced players of limited ability granted but then replace them with young boys who are far from being ready. Utter crazy and I will bet he is now panicking about how to sort it before aug 31! Remember Danny signed a pile of shite in his first season and had Caldwell not known teale and thommo not asked to come where is his successes in the market? McGowan and Goodwin yes but wardlaw, mcquade, lynch, hegarty, guy, Parkin, Imrie and Carey to an extend have been failures. Add to that the lad puri who had 45mins and paddy Cregg who was worse than a man down. Maybe we're getting an idea of why the board don't trust him? And maybe they know he won't be around if things go bad from now til December. I think looking at the league the teams who already occupy the bottom spots will be there at the end. Unless of course we sign a few good players

So it seems. After winning a cup and having a decent scottish cup run I would have thought this was our best chance to enhance our squad and really push for a top six berth. Instead the squad has been dismantled and not replaced. I find it totally frustrating to see Ross county, Motherwell, Dundee united, and soon Kilmarnock alongside caley to be bringing in players. Killie want five new players and they are ten million in debt. Wtf are we doing with our cash and if we have none due to releasing players from contracts then why do it and leave yourself short. Why did we terminate contracts when there's no chance of replacing them. Danny has paid them off and now has no money. If that's the case it's totally stupid and pointlesss

Well said saints0 at last after a summer of the happy clappers pretending we had a great squad the dull thud of reality strikes. With one striker on the books and no plan b lets face facts were going to be in one hell of a scrap for survival. With regards to the budget Danny is basically begging Newcastle to help him which isn't good enough but it does suggest gilmour doesn't trust him to spend it wisely .

Mick what a total shite comment. We should aspire to start winning then seeing as its been 3 yrs. the team is weak much weaker than before. Face facts were getting absolutely screwed by Inverness who seem to have a better manager who actually has contacts to get good players cheap. Does anyone think maybe we can start to question the manager? Who in their right mind lets players go without having replacements. I am refreshed by the honesty of these predictions. Too often happy clapping idiots refuse to see things without the black and white glasses on. Are we weaker than last year too right. Do we have a potent strike force do we heck and is our goalie suspect I think so. All in all here I suspect a v tough opening. Ross county a team less supported than ours but one who has been busy in the market as have caley. We have no plan b in striking as its thommo or burst. Don't give me any tosh about Reilly being a front man cos he is not. We need two strikers, and a strong defensive player. We won't get them but hey.
