100% agree that Hibs are there for the taking, FTOF. I was looking at it from a fairly simplistic view that if we end up 1 point behind Dungfermline in mid table come the end of the season, I'll blame that point on Hibs today, rather than the 55 points we've dropped so far this season.

I've been off the forum for almost a year. Dipped in last August but then got scunnered by a few of the more persistent bell ends so logged back off till the TNS game. For as long as I've been on here (11 years I think) there have always been those who have been more prolific than others. NSS, The Sandman and Shull amongst others. My perception is that there have been less and less people contributing to this forum, so perhaps those with the huge numbers of posts have seemed more prevalant in recent times? Anyhoo, I think that the sin bin has been a success as it may have held a mirror up to those with an overtly political view masking their bawbaggery and polluting the forum with shite. Why has Shull left, BTW? I'm now unsure if we have too many full time teams, are paying the players enough or if we should be playing tippy tappy football?

Interesting to hear JR say that he gave them a half time rollicking. Hope he does the same a few minutes before they walk out at Ayr next week...

I agree. Too much respect shown to them on the pitch this season. Teams don't believe they're there for the taking anymore. Let's have a right f**king go at them and let them know they're in a fight for the points. I'll take a scrappy one nil to the buds and I predict that I will do my first cartwheel since we beat them on boxing day in 2011 when the Australian boy lashed the wondergoal in at the near post. I remember it well as I was stuck up a mountain in the Falkland Islands with a couple of staunch blue noses. Rangers died the following February giving me the best valentines gift ever. This is the first time in a great many years that I don't have any real passion for this. I think the performance and attitude will be more important than the result. Rae seems to be more than capable of motivating the players. If we get tore in to them, take every single 50/50 ball and show the passion and grit thats been missing recently, then the scoreline should take care of itself. A sold performance will get the fans back on side, bit more cash through the turnstyles and a better feeling about the place. Anything less than 100% committment, (that should be the very least expected of them EVERY week) then we're gubbed.
