  1. Shuggy scores the goal that saves the day 1998 - Stirling Albion at Forthbank
  2. St Sid I agree with some of what you are saying there is a conflict of interest here between SMFC & 10000hrs . I think a good idea would be for 10000hrs to collect the monthly subscriptions as Div says the system is in place and ready to go, once the cash comes in then hand it over to SMiSA who hold the cash in there bank account until it is needed. By doing this it takes away all the cloak and dagger and suspicion away from both parties .I for one would be happy for my monthly payment to be taken out ASAP if this was the case.
  3. Yes I understand that but however 10000 hrs must have an idea of what we are going to pay for the club, also what will be drawn from the accounts on 31st of Aug when we don't know what we are going to offer ! More questions to be answered I'm afraid
  4. I agree with helping out the club with the £10 per month DD. But I still think we need to know how much is the club going to be sold for now ,surely not at the value that it was before i.e £1.5 million. Are WE 10000 hrs going to review the asking price ??
  5. I think that the sponsors need to come out and let the Fans know who they are, and more importantly what there intensions will be in all of the scenarios that are been muted around about the general direction of Scottish Football. There intensions will then let the fans make a decision on whether they will stop supporting their brand . If they are not going to give money and continue there support in Scottish Football are people still going to support and subscribe to them ?
  6. I think most fans are not happy at giving money to CIC ,as this will represent given money to the current selling group who have duped the fans in this latest development . And until SMFC or CIC make a statement and tell us what there intentions are with the club going forward I think you will find that people will start cancelling based on actions. I will be one of those who will be cancelling !
  7. I have voted in the poll, however I was unable to vote yes for Q4 until more information given on what others will give. I would have liked a maybe vote
  8. My only concern about the questions is that why have only 2 clubs mentioned the fact that we might go into administration? Is it because they are both going through change ? When SMFC moved from love street were we not meant to be debt free ,if so why has this came from being debt free to possibility of going into administration. I would have thought all the other clubs that have now voted No to a Newco would have been in a worse placed situation than us ,and would have been shouting from the Stands that this will be a possible outcome. But no they have just said a straight forward no . To end this is a very worrying time for me as a St.Mirren fan as my club could go into administration,it just doesn’t add up ! But No to a newco
  9. Would the current selling group take a reduction on the asking price if the Fans are prepared to support the club with extra funding and donations?
  10. My post was meant to be an alternative to the 10000hrs bid ......just a fans bid with no attachments or baggage!
  11. However is the club now worth £1.5 million now with all that's happening with Scottish Football at the moment ?
  12. What would be the options for a fan buy out without 10000hrs, would or could it work???? Some will say well we have had three years to do it, but most have went along with the 10000hrs option. But the conditions have changed on numerous occasions and now with the Rangers situation things are still up in the air. Could the fans make a bid for the club now with the value of the share price not as high as it would have been 6 months ago ,bring SMISA on board GLS and all other share holders and concentrate on running a football club. For the record I have signed up for the CIC……But open to options and a discussion !
  13. After much debate with myself ,I have decided I would rather take my chance with this rather than risk the possibility of what's happening a few miles up the road........I'm In onwards and upwards
  14. If the CIC goes through and 10000hrs own the 52% share holding in SMFC,if they 10000hrs decide to expand there interest outside SMFC and it all goes belly up and they get into financial problems . What would the effects be on SMFC as 10000hrs are the 52% share holding in SMFC ?
  15. To be honest I'm sitting on the fence on this one, the whole timing of this spooks me on both sides of the debate. Is it a gun getting held with the threat of somebody coming in and selling us from under our feet or do we go with the fan based idea then getting trumped at that end. I was all for the CIC thing but that much has changed I don’t know whether I’m coming or going who do I believe ,the waters have been mudded and I don’t know !! So much at stake for the club that me and my family have followed through generations. Hope it turns out the right choice so future generations of my family can have all the fun of ups and downs as the rest off us have had over the years !!
  16. Listen Dick I can post what I want and put it on the Forum of my choice.Who died and made you boss! I think more people read this Forum
  17. For 10000hrs only please then we debate the answers I feel that a lot is lost in the so many replies. 10000hrs can you please clarify and clear this issue up for me as there has been so much posted on this takeover I think a lot get lost in the posts. 10000hrs are buying the 52% shares from the selling consortium; this would give them full control of the club? A separate board would run the football club & a separate board would run CIC? The football club would not be responsible for the debt on the loans that the CIC sought To buy said shares? I think I read that the CIC could buy up more shares from the other 48% why would it feel the need to purchase any more shares when it already has full control, would this not be a waste of money? If the CIC was to fail how would this affect the club when the 2 are separate business models? Once again if it did fail could the CIC gift the shares () rather than sell ,then the club would be in real Fan control could this be an option for a safety net.( articles of association) Why not just offer the selling consortium £1million that you have on a take it leave it basis as after all you are the preferred bidder. If the selling consortium were to take the £1million, the CIC could get to their Aims in a shorter timescale and this would allow for money to plough into the Football club .I think this is where the majority want to see this money go if the truth know. No one in any of the two boards will be paid? What is the dividend on the stake in the CIC if you pay £10pm or £3000pa? Can 10000hrs go out and buy a stake in any other business as an investment and a possible money making venture .But this money doesn’t have to go back to SMFC ,the CIC can chose were that money goes i.e. Glasgow ladies or Glennifer Thistle or any other community project. All the voting is done on one share one vote basis . How much will it cost to set up all the start up costs of the CIC? Has this been costed in the loans that the CIC are taken or will this money come from elsewhere as an added cost? If coming from another source who’s funding it and who is the source? Will there be an interim board after the takeover is complete and who will this be? Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer these questions I know some may have been answered before.

    Equity

Sorry I couldn’t make last night as I don’t stay in Paisley but I followed the discussion via the tweets and I picked up on this one . “It remains a 1 member 1 vote system but the incentive for paying more is to earn more equity when the CIC meets its goal” Can somebody please explain how this will work after all the debt is paid off. They way I understand it is that if you pay £10 per month for 5 years is £600 over the debt repayment period you would get £600 worth of equity in the club ,And if you put in £50k after the 5 years you will get £50k worth of equity. So after this five year repayment plan is complete is it still 1 member 1 vote system , as somebody with £50k equity is going to want a bigger say than the person with £600 worth. Once again I’m only asking a question and I don’t expect to get slated!!
  20. Just a small thought meantime until it is sorted out who will own or run the club ,there was always the topic of the BAR refit. So on this subject the 800 who pledged the £120 per year still go ahead and pledge(as a 1 off payment). This will allow SMFC the funds to carry out the refit and the revenue goes direct to the club. The pay back is that 800 vote on a member from the people who parted with the cash to the board. This way the money that is generated is ploughed back into the club and the fans get a member on board . Thoughts please
  21. I'm neither for or against CIC I just want what's best for SMFC........and you keep asking for alternatives and when one is presented you knock it Typical !
  22. I have a better idea ….why don’t the Pro CIC group(St.Sid) stand at every Turnstile on Saturday and take a poll from all saints supporters as they go through the gates a simple YES for & No Against . This I’m sure will give everybody a better idea of what the St.Mirren support really want not just as you seem to say (St.Sid)that the majority of fans are pro CIC . This will catch all the support not just the ones who have internet or were able to attend the meeting. Once all this information is collated it will go one way or the other and put a stop to all this Pro and anti CIC, let the supporters make their choice not just small groups of individuals.
  23. A question please for 10000hrs If the CIC goes through is it true that the club would get a 80% relief on business rates because it will then be seen as a community-interest company. And if so how would that money that the club has saved be spent 1. Put back into the club as it is the clubs asset that the relief will come from 2. Or will it be used to pay off the loans for the CIC Thanks
  24. Re-Born Saint are you a new St.Mirren Supporter due to the CIC ? Just wondering as you have posted 102 question's on it out of 114 not a lot about the footballing side of the forum, are you more interested in that side of the club.......Just curious !
  25. Off topic what is the football club your involved with and at what age group may be looking for a friendly, I run a West Lothian County Select.
