"Gary was with us at Dundee FC 10 years ago.
Very able and comfortable with the ball at his feet for a centre half and I would expect him to have grown into a very commending defender with his experience down south.
    Great signing for the club"

Glad to sign up,probably paying lump sum annually in advance due to payment limitations offered to Canada. Great work by all involved to make it happen (and it will happen).

I'm near the end of it now, but I've not really enjoyed it. Evans constant shouting gives me a headache and I didn't have a single laugh out loud moment.

I don't give a f**k where he signs players from as long as they can do a good job for us that's all that matters

We need more ambulant disabled members to join in order to let the club/clubs know we are supporters with, as I call it, unseen disabilities.
Last night's meeting was the election of chairman and treasurer with John Clark continuing as chair, and Ian Laurie continuing as treasurer.
The next meeting is due on 22nd August at 7pm in the Boardroom

Can't congratulate enough those responsible for making these things happen. As a club and group of supporters we like to see ourselves as a community, in having people in our ranks willing to put these achievements in place certainly moves us closer to that wish. Well done all.

It's always interesting to see who is quoted to re-join us, even if they had been with us a short while, were successful (to a degree), or not as the case may be, and how long ago.
I've never been a great fan of re-tracing your steps, there are plenty of players out there who are younger, hungrier and perhaps more committed to trying to improve themselves rather than taking the final last buck before they retire into the sunset......................

The thing about Goodwillie is he has had plenty of second chances and not taken any of them. There is no doubt the lad has talent but has been awful for a long time now and even at Utd, he couldn't have looked less interested.

A brilliant guy and a brilliant player for us for the vast majority of his time with us, however this is the right time for him to go and move on.
We shouldn't ever forget the class of 2013 and the cup win they brought us but it's been hanging over the club ever since like a bad hangover.
We have to put that era behind us now and look forward and move on.
Wish Jim all the best wherever he ends up, can't really imagine he'll be inundated with offers in the Championship but if he ends up playing against us then so be it.

The team are playing pretty well again, the sale of the club is moving forward in a direction most seem to like, the new supporters bar is finally open, and we've just humped Morton in the derby.
Looks like all this positivity is just too much for some people who are digging very deep to find something to be annoyed about !

Me too. Here's where I want my £12 a month to go to...
£1 - buying out the consortium.
£1 - funding the 'get that fcuking Hall of Fame panel up FFS' campaign.
£10 - the buy Allan Picken a new bunnet fund, the one he's got is a disgrace.
    Get it sorted SMiSA.

Shull I abhor the bigotry that blights our game. You know that as would most who have been around the forums and the guestbooks as long as I have. I've no time for it in the slightest. But the Union Flag is not an emblem of bigotry - nor is the Irish Tricolour for that matter - no matter how people wish to hijack it.
As far as I understand it neither Carswell or Agnew used any bigoted language in any of their "offending" posts on Twitter, they simply posted comments on the Sunday match indicating who they wished to do well. I can't believe the molehill that is being made out of this - especially when the club has previous when Paul McGowan was accused of doing much worse at a Celtic match and excuses were made for him.
Everyone should calm the f**k down and realise that when your club appeals to just 3,000 people out of a population of 5.3million, you are going to have to sign players who are not dyed in the wool St Mirren fans to get a squad with any quality in it at all.

I certainly don't think the issue is players having Twitter accounts. The issue is certain players posting silly things.
I can see a point to both sides of the argument but I don't think it's very wise to be tweeting about another club when u don't play for them, regardless if it's old firm or not.
As already mentioned in any job, if we're tweeting in support of a rival company I don't think your current employer would be too impressed.
