In a nutshell, the defence has been needing sorted for a couple of seasons now and it still hasnt happened. We are still screaming out for a new centre half.

If we arent going to bring in a new centre half then the best we can hope for is newton coming back so goodwin can move back to centre half. I would also be bringing in a new right back, a young hungry 1 at that, van zanten is nowhere near good enough.

That team would struggle to hold its own in the 1st division.

It might be pre season friendlies but we have had strong teams out, this is brutal. That defence is fecking awful.
