My calls for a speculation section so far have been unanswered!
I think we need a special section for the questions such as
Who should we sign?
Who would you like us to sign?
What players are currently free and looking for a club and may do a job for St Mirren?
There IS a place for speculation, we ALL like to do it and thus far this forum does not really allow us to do it without comments (from people like me) such as "thats not a rumour".
So please speculate here (and if you believe in such a section then maybe the mods will see it too) and it may make the rumour mill slighty more credible!

I'd love to see Sports Catering booted out of St Mirren Park, and replaced with a McHargs The Bakers Franchise.

I know some people find it hard to retract statements but I suppose it should be respected that you went half way by stating that you now accept this church gruoup should be welcome. Fair play.

I knew it wouldnt be long before one of the "Crusaders" bit.
Actually having listened to RA tonight I think this could be of benefit to the club. RA made points that nobody on here did.

To most of us it would be enough just to be a member, but to be realistic in these times, there will need to be some form of "incentives". Nothing too mental, just a wee sweetener. I note that there are plans for kids / OAPs / family memberships - again, a good thing.
I've spoken to RA today (he replied to an e-mail), and whilst there's no way I'll break any confidences, he is aiming to get as many people involved ASAP. Of course, this makes financial sense from the perspective of the CIC#2 bid, but I don't see anyone else (bar Mo'well) trying to get as many of the fans involved in a football club. Nobody is having an emotional "gun" pointed at their head to join up either (ie. SMFC are not in trouble). I also understand why they didn't press ahead with mass recruitment in the past (ie. if something went wrong - it did - then it would only magnify the already poor issues of communicating with fans).
I'm a cynical auld bassa, not quite in Shull's league, but getting there. I've heard all the pros & cons, and I've seen the positive/gutsy reaction from the CIC to initial failure. This is an opportunity that would be wasted if we look back in later years. RA may not be a Saints Man, but what he is trying to do is something unique that would clearly have a large number of benefits to St.Mirren FC and its fans.....and that's from someone who has had more than his fair share of queries about the whole affair (still not happy about the £2m price though).
The forum is so polarised - you are either anti/pro, with no room for debate nor persuasion, and that's a shame. I must have chilled out a bit lately. Age getting the better of me.

I find it hard to digest that companys I know of who support St Mirren week in week out and have put in upwards of 60k a piece have not even been asked to be corporate members.
The CIC must not go ahead.

Furthermore if our team can keep up this fantastic form and the "feel good" factor remains for a while yet then that alone may add a few numbers.
The difference in demand for seats on our supporters bus is an indicator that St Mirren fans are re-energised by this!

Div, with something so imminent, I would have expected something official from the club to that effect. As usual, we are in the dark having expected all of this to have been resolved when the extension was asked for way back months ago. Still I am sure we will hear things in due course once it is posted on the BBC Sports site.

To be fair, this poll won't really mean much.
Many of those who will vote will never be members of the cic so they will never get to cast a vote in the real world.
Bring on the first real cic vote. I can't wait to see it all unfold for real!
