In 2019-20 Obika scored 8 League goals. The following season he scored 5 League gals. Main, who is not a proven goalscorer has scored 6 League goals already this season. Obika is no better a striker than Main.

Joe played left centre back two seasons ago when we finished 7th. It wasn't a big problem that season not having a left sided centre back.

Looks very promising, but the guy in nowhere near match fit and will only be getting 10/15 mins here and there.

If we are pushing the boat out for a striker I'd try and sign Van Veen of Motherwell. 13 League goals for a side fighting relegation and a handful up top. If we had a 13 goal striker this season we would be comfortably 4th.

Two huge mistakes cost us anything from today. Really thought we would take something from that game. Dunne could have hoofed it out of play if he felt under pressure, but instead, he tried a pass back which was short. What on earth was he thinking the result of hauling down Kyogo was going to be for his second mistake? If he let him go the striker still had Carson to beat and Dunne could still put him under pressure. Even if Kyogo scored it is 1-1 with 11 men on the pitch and no further suspensions considering our injury list. As an experienced player he really let us down with his second mistake.

Calmed down a bit since yesterday. Thought we were clueless. Too many square passes at the back; too many aimless punts into the box. No movement from the strikers. Too much passing the buck. Joe made a big difference when he came - direct and led by example. Hope he gets more game time as he deserves it.

3 special mentions. Main for working through the pain barrier. Strain for being the best player on the pitch - again. And Robinson's great substitution taking off Small who was being rinsed by the RC sub, moving Fraser over to deal with him and bringing Joe on.
Robinson's substitutions recently have all been excellent and helped us out. Something Goodwin never managed to do.

The first 30 secs usually gives me an indication of how we'll get on. If we don't close down and get in faces immediately from kick off we usually are second best for most of the first half. We usually improve in the second half but most Away games this season we seem to sit back that wee bit and never get back into it. No idea why that is.

Disappointing but it had to end sometime. Thought we were lethargic today. We usually get in faces direct from kick off but sat back too much and it took 15/20 mins to start to get into the game. Maybe Wednesday took too much out of them.
Also think we need Gogic's strength and ball winning in the centre of the park. He is better suited there and Gallagher is too good to sit on the bench. Oh well, on to Motherwell to extend our Away form.

In Aug Aberdeen beat St Mirren 4-1 when Gallagher was sent off after 20 mins. The sending off was hardly mentioned on Sportscene as all they did was heap praise on Aberdeen's new signings and how brilliant they were. Fast forward 5 months and same venue but this time an Aberdeen player (not a central defender) is sent off early in the game. But Sportscene focuses on the sending off and hardly mentions that St Mirren ripped them apart. Could easily have been a 1-5 scoreline. A wee bit of praise for St Mirren would have been nice (and justified). But then you'd have to kick Michael Stewart off the show,

Team was full of good performances but special mention to Baccus playing an unfamiliar role and bossing it. His few days off has brought him back to his best. But well done everyone.

We certainly should have got at the very least a point recently at Tynecastle against a team far superior to the current Aberdeen team. It's football and anything can happen of course but I am far more optimistic about getting something tonight at Pittodrie than I have been for years.

Most vocal at the SMiSA are Aberdeen.
Most vocal at Home: Tynecastle is a fantastic ground but when their team are gash you can hear a pin drop like two weeks ago. Same could be said for most teams. Probably vote Motherwell.

Dull: Fakes
Dislike: Respect all fans that do not support the OF. If I were to choose it would be Dundee fans for the absolute arrogant shite their supporters post on-line.
