Normally one size up for Joma.

My daughter is a medium. I had to get her the large.

    Perfect

She has tops of various manufacturers , including the team she plays for. All are medium except her two St Mirren ones , which are large size.

    Thanks.

  2. Update: I telephoned ,as suggested, to buy tickets for the Hearts Away Match to be told that I can now NOT buy them over the phone as there is a Postal Strike later in the week!!! To attend I must now travel to Paisley and back (about 90 miles) with fuel costs high or choose not to go to the game!!
I have now been in touch twice with the SLO about Clubs making it very difficult for Away fans. I have asked that St Mirren bring it up at SPFL Board level. There should always be a gate available for Away fans even if it just a swipe card if Clubs complain about taking cash. And Away tickets should always be available to purchase on-line. I think we will have to keep the pressure up to achieve this. I hope fans that regularly attend Away games support this and send complaints to the SLO.

  3. Although there was little between the teams today we simply didn't turn up compared to our previous League games. All 3 goals were avoidable.

I thought Main and Ayunga in particular were poor. Couldn't control a ball between them nor hold it up. The Fakes matched up our formation giving the wing backs little room to work in. Only Baccus in the midfield was ok but O'Hara improved in the second half. I would have brought on Gogic at half time for Erhahon to give us more bite and urgency in the middle where Carey was dominant for them. Gallagher had a good game but the other two made made several errors in the game.

The best forward today was Greive and he was only on the park for 15 mins. I would start him next week. Onwards and upwards. Surprised to realise we are still in the top six.

  4. Jack Ross provided me with a great 18 months following this Club. From total freefall to winning a league in such a short space. No-one can claim he was a failure with us.

Since then he has been very unlucky with the Boards he has worked under. 1 point away from promotion with the basket case that is Sunderland. Hibs highest League position in decades. 7 games with Utd.

He needs to go to a club like Partick Thistle, keep his head down and rebuild again.

    My sentiments exactly on both

People creaming themselves over 2 wins and he’s the messiah?

I’m delighted we’ve won and appear back on track, but needs to be judged over a longer period of time

Not thinking he is the messiah but he has improved from being a naughty boy.

Considering I though he was rank rotten last season to now putting in a good shift in 4 games in a row is quite a turnround for me. I can now see how Robinson rated him before. Ayunga would be more likely to be the messiah anyway.

  6. After that controlled, fluent, all round performance I need to ask the question.
Where do we accomodate Gogic? Do we drop Erhahon?
I doubt the defensive partnership of Gallacher, who SR brought in, or Dunne, who Robinson is definitely a fan of, will be split up. Not sure he'd get Frasers place as, if SR wanted to change that up, there's big Joe.
I don't believe he would replace either Baccus or O'Hara so it only leaves Ethan who, IMO, has come on in leaps and bounds.
I am now looking forward to watching how it pans out.
One thing I am sure of is that the football should be much more watchable moving forward.
Ethan has a great left foot pass. His attitude and workrate has improved no end under Robinson. However he is still weak defensively failing to track back, mark or tackle on his right side as he turns his whole body round to try and use his left leg. If we are playing a game when we are defending more I'd play Gogic.

  7. No, nothing to do with the band.

Thought I'd give fans an opportunity to declare their mistakes. I know some will never post here as their egos are too big to admit that they may have got something wrong. For others it is a chance to put their hands up and recognise that maybe their criticism was a bit over the top and that they are mature enough and brave enough to admit it. It may well be cathartic :) .

I'll start with Curtis Main. Last season my heart sank when I heard the team lines and knew that Main was starting. I thought we were starting a man down. Even his very brief resurgence at the end of the season wasn't enough to convince me he was worth keeping. However, and I do not know Robinson's secret, Main is a changed man. He has been excellent in all 4 League games so far and I never ever thought I would ever be typing that. Well done Curtis. You proved me wrong.

  8. Glad to hear that the Parklea Messi (Keanu) had a good first game.
Now to get me one of those quite sexual away strips you have put out.

Tell the Aussie manager Baccus is improving every game. He'll be ready for the World Cup squad when it is announced :) . Same goes for Strain. Considering both had a lack of games and pre-season training they are improving every week. Long may it continue.

  9. We have played 2 league games so far. First we were by far the better team and the second we were competing ok until the sending off/penalty. Far to early to talk about must win games.

The recruitment under Stubbs was a joke and we didn't look like we could compete against anyone. SR has recruited some decent players snd we can compete. I'll be giving them a chance before calling for SR's head.

Last season Ross County didn't win any of their first 10 matches and made it into Europe. How about we back off and relax a wee bit.

  10. Does the wee bit of perspective stretch to us not being able to beat Part time Airdrie who spent  10 /6d on a bunch of part time players and played us off the pitch  or losing to Arbroath who had guys playing who’d emptied bins & delivered letters all week before beating us ? [emoji2369]

I didn’t expect us to beat Aberdeen , it’s a very hard place to go and many teams will fall there this season but if we are to say we got beat because they have a bigger budget - surely it cuts both ways as I pointed out ?
Your final sentence regarding teams we need to beat ?   We’ve already failed on 1/3rd of that challenge .
Since this is the Aberdeen thread I was refering to Aberdeen but with regards Airdrie once again we played most of the game with 10 men and had several players unavailable and a couple taken off injured. And we were by far the better team last week although we got beat. I'll wait until we have played the teams in our wee league before deciding if we are shite or not. But go for it if you think 2 games is enough to write us off.
