Looking like penalties so could go anyway.
1-1, half time, extra time
City out on pens.
City goalie scored to give City the chance to go all square then saves but Madrid score.

Madrid scored early then made no attempt to get forward for the rest of the match. Was a matter of time before City scored. Would be a major surprise if City do not to onto win.

City 1-1 Real, extra time coming up.
Real must be exhausted, chasing the ball for most of the game, hardly out of their own half, going to be a testing 30 mins.

LEZ zones are having very little impact on air quality but a much larger impact on the councils earnings.
Another underhand tax on the public along with the MUP fiasco.

Why not .
Answering a question with a question?
Was it too difficult for you to come up with any sort of plausible reason?

I had hoped Rangers would win it but they f**ked that at weekend hopeless cunts.
Why?

The underrated Che Adams has been scoring regularly for a high flying Southampton this season.
2nd top scorer with 15 goals.
The English Championship is a pretty decent level.

Another nanny state interference. And it will never work. There was a 40 something woman actually interviewed saying, and I kid you not, "I wish the ban was in place when I was 11!. BIG NEWS HEN. IT WAS! You were smoking illegally.
The only way this can work medium to long term is the introduction of identity cards to show you're 25, not 24, or 35, not 34.
I stopped smoking almost 30 years ago but, if the government are allowing sale of tobacco to one adult, it should be the same for all adults. Yes. Use education as a weapon against it but not this.
It's bad enough that the overbearing Scottish Parliament is trying to stop all those but the well off to have a drink without interfering even more with people's rights.
Good post.
PS the highlighted caused me and Mrs faraway to look at each other in disbelief, followed by howls of laughter.

Not a bad set of fixtures - should Sevco win tomorrow night that would certainly help us - if we avoid defeat against Dundee that should be enough for us to clinch 5th 🤞🤞
Agreed, at least it's in our own hands and beats many of the previous seasons hoping teams lose to save us from a possible relegation or play off disaster.

For all that is true I remember reading all the same last year about how teams would improve and we'd struggle if we stood still. We are where we are this year through good coaching and most of the players playing well most of the time....it'll ever be thus.
Aint that the truth.
Mibbie, in time, some supporters will start to see us as a regular top 6 side.
After last season I was on record as saying our target was to sustain out top 6 status which, in turn, could see us attract better players and have a better bash at the cups.
The cups have been my only slight disappointment this season.

Spot on and agree totally with your last paragraph
I would add that managing in Paisley as well as being based there would be even better 😎
Aye, I could have made that clearer. 🤣
-
As long as the manager's still based in Paisley I'm not too fussed.
He's already shown he can get the best out of players who were slagged off by the knowledgeable supporters.

Razzle Dazzle, remember it quite well although I don't recall being inside.

Could turn out to be the day the league was "won" mate.
Liverpool 0-1 Palace
Arsenal 0-2 Aston Villa (2 mins to go)

Also in defence, we had the great Willie Fulton and big Andy McFadden.
Maybe, we could start a St Mirren Memories Thread, where the vast majority of us on here, could contribute.
Why don't you start a thread about the current team, or maybe players over the last 5 years or so .............wait, you've no seen any games?

The first right back I ever seen for our Club. A great player and servant for St Mirren.
And of course we had Tony Connell on the other side. Another great full back.
I love most of my Saints memories and there are plenty.
It seems you canny remember starting a thread about the same player.

Credit to wee Emma, an emphatic victory yesterday against a decent player in the Stutgart Open.
Any victory for her is a good victory, maybe she can get a decent run together and start to see some of the form that saw her win the US Open all them years ago.
