No jumping to conclusions needed here Loomo, I trust the French authorities will investigate and report on their findings, then hunt for the leaders behind this atrocity and deal with them as they see fit. I would refrain from calling them anything other than cowards and murderers if i were you.

TT, myself and colleagues from the fans council arranged today's treat for the Veterans. They along with the 4th Paras had soup/sandwiches/ Tea/ Coffee and Cakes. Half time hot drinks were provide too. And at full time they were all invited in for a wee dram and a bottle of beer. They all had a great time. This was all done with the full help on the the following SMFC, Brian Caldwell, Sally Mcdonald, Rosalind Carr, 4th Para, Michael Kerr (piper) Allan Picken. It was a pleasure in organising this event. One of the Veterans was a season ticket holder until recently when ill health forced him to give it up.

Without getting too involved in the whole political or ideological situation on ISIS.
I personally ( as a separate issue ) hate to see such historical / ancient cities & monuments destroyed such as is 'still' going on in places such as Palmyra amongst many others.
Things that will never be replaced or replicated.
The whole thing is a sad state of affairs in our so called 'modern' world.

I'm struggling. Can any kind Buddies help me?
My daughter has lupus - you know, what that Selena Lopez lassie came out as having the other day.
She's never pain free but she rarely complains. My daughter, that is. I've heard Lopez never stops girning.
So, we're planning to do a skydive to raise funds, but it's one of these deals where you need to raise a grand before you can do the jump.
We're well over half way there but we need a lot more. Is there any chance the good folk of Black and White Army dot com could dig deep and take us closer to the target?
I guarantee the Hibbs Lupus Trust has nothing whatsoever to do with the Hibees!
Thanks in advance to anyone who coughs up a quid

When I were a lad , we would ride two abreast as a club and single out for other traffic as required . .
Times have changed and due to deaths in recent years of cyclists ( I don't mean the guys on bikes , like the one that nearly took me out this morning when I came out of the butchers onto the pavement) who were on there own , it is deemed safer to ride as a bunch . Most cyclist will know of someone , indeed if it hasn't happened to them personally , who has been killed or seriously injured by an inattentive motorist , Christ it even happened to the Knighted one . All that does is harden attitudes . .
As a motorist , I see my fellow motorist blatantly defying the Highway Code almost , at every opportunity . I remember the days when lorry drivers were known as the knights of the road but those days are well gone , they even cut each other up , big style . .
We live in a very selfish society now and people do things on the road that they would never do if they actually had to face you. .
On a happier note , I drove through Edinburgh one day during the Fringe and was amazed by the politeness of some of the Hackney drivers. .

Is giving him the bullet an option? He will need paid off I presume? Get rid of his sidekick and bring someone in to support him that knows the game a bit better at this level.
I spoke to Tom Hendrie last week and he said he would jump at the chance .
Or failing that, any of you f**kin idiots that think you could be a good manager that are good with the keyboard pop down and introduce yourselves..:-)

Really looking forward to this season and shall only go to a handful of home games, however looking forward to our away days, got a few stadia to tick off..
Give Ian Murray time, good foundations make a strong house, building off of shite does not...
Find it a bit strange that some of the idiots shouting for change are on his back already..

Although this was a dire performance from us it was only our 2nd league game of the season. For me the issue I feel most worrying is that we seem to have very little to offer in midfield, albeit not 1 player came through that game today with any pass or even average marks. Indeed I would go as far to say that the 20mins or so that Thommo was on the park suited him down to earth, he was by far the best player. It is clear that this suits not only him but also Mr Murray as well.
Perhaps the changes made to the side from the Rangers game by Ian Murray were necessary, who knows, but the sooner we get a settled team the better.

some typical right-wing bluster on this thread
    "ship them to america"
    "send the buggers there"
We need to remind ourselves that very few of us can trace our roots back to purely british sources. Most of the asylum seekers are coming from places that have been comprehensively raped or screwed over by the UK, the US and our ilk.
And how booming would the economy be if agriculture, construction, hospitality, health and care had to pay to develop and retain indigigenous workers?
As i travel round the UK i now see more inequality , poverty and desperation than i have ever seen in my 57 years. It's mad to suggest that we live in some sort of benefits-laden utopia that attracts only the lazy and feckless.
