Wilbur reacted to Luther G. Presley in Worst Film You Have Ever Seen?
Without a doubt the worst film I've ever seen is Star Wars, really don't get the hype.

Wilbur got a reaction from Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes in So Farewell Then ............. Cecil Parkinson
Oddly, StuD doesn't appear to have anything to add to this thread about a former high-ranking Tory.
Perhaps the SNP were somehow to blame for his (and the Tories) despicable behaviour ?

Wilbur got a reaction from FTOF in Gubbed Again!
Rebuilding phase at the moment, not a shock losing away to Hibs is it ?
That said, I would be more upbeat if we could offload a large pile of our stinking dead wood before the January window ends.

Wilbur got a reaction from chalky1 in The Oscars And Black Actors
Sometimes people see racism where it doesn't exist, but maybe it suits their personal agenda to heighten their public profile. I don't pay much attention to Hollywood / movies so maybe that explains why I had never heard of Jada Smith before this uproar was created. Smacks of attention-seeking.
BTW, why would it be ok for Ms Broccolli to choose his replacement ?? That is blatant vegetable sectarianism. Why not ask Jasper Carrott to attend the interviews ? Or Mr Bean ? Or a famous Swede ? I'm offended !!

Two of those that went ahead were subsequently abandoned. Surely that is worse ?

Wilbur got a reaction from billyg in Retro Saints; St.mirren 2 Celtic 3 Aet 1980
Yes it has, and it costs more than half a crown to gain entry to the match.

Aberdeen are a pretty successful and decent side but I think if they played St.Mirren in a Scottish Cup final in the next couple of years we would still struggle to repeat the 108,591 crowd who watched the two teams compete for the 1959 Scottish Cup.
If Saints were playing electrifying football and competing in the top half of the Premiership our home support would probably still not top 5,000 most weeks.
Life has changed, society has changed. The game has changed. C'est La Vie.

Wilbur got a reaction from shull in Happy New Year
Let's hope that 2016 is a clean slate for St Mirren. The move from Love Street to Greenhill Road has been like a jinx on us. Maybe a new year will kill off that curse !!!!

Wilbur got a reaction from belfast billy in We Are Going To Get Relegated Again
I'll go on record as stating that we won't be relegated this season.
Today we were utterly honking and were outplayed by one of the teams that we probably have to finish above, but let's put today's performance into context.
We have a brand new manager who has yet to sort things out and yet to impose his style of play on the guys wearing the stripes. Today he will have learned a hell of a lot about what sort of mess he has inherited and that (IMO) puts him one stage closer sorting it out. Half way through this appalling season it is obvious that we have some passengers, some imposters, and some dross. It's a cliche but you have to hit rock bottom before you can rise again. Good luck Alex Rae. Let's hope that we have witnessed our rock bottom and a January clear-out will be the start of our renaissance.
KTF.

Wilbur got a reaction from ped in January Window
I would expect Alex Rae's priority task to be an assessment of what he has in this squad and then to ship out those that don't fit in with his plans. IMO as many as 6 or 7 could depart in January with maybe as many new faces arriving. The idea of bringing in the likes of Sutton and/or Mehmet could be a step in the wrong direction. We should be looking ahead rather than backwards.
