Wilbur got a reaction from Lord Pityme in Gow Signs
Let's wait and see. My first impression is that one of the promising products of our youth system is being denied his opportunity of a first team breakthrough.

Wilbur got a reaction from matthew_irving in Celtic V Real Sociedad
Didn't Ronnie Deila slag off the quality of pitches in Scotland last season immediately after his mob played at St Mirren Park. So Celtic's pitch is so poor it needs to be relaid. And Celtic choose St Mirren Park to play their pre-season show games while they replace their tatty field. Ironic ?

Noooooooooooooo !!!
We need a clearout from the top downwards. Yesterday's men are responsible for us being relegated. The rot may have started with Tommy Craig in charge but Gary Teale's leadership failed to reverse the slide.
Rebuild for the future with a whole new management team who can take over without any 'baggage'.

Wilbur got a reaction from cambiebud in General Election 2015
The Labour Party have learned nothing from the fiasco of appointing Michael Foot as their leader 35 years ago. Foot was unelectable as the UK's prime minister, but despite the lessons of history the Labour Party's undemocratic membership voting system allowed the trades unions to appoint Ed Miliband, another unelectable wally whom the nation's voters couldn't take seriously.
And who in the Labour ranks thought it would be a good idea to boost their electoral chances by sending up from down south a cross-dressing comedian (allegedly), who paraded alongside the ultra-charismatic Jim Murphy in Glasgow city centre looking like a 30 bob tart ?
No wonder it has been a shoo-in for the SNP.

Our old "friends " have been booted out the Lowland Cup.
On Saturday, v Preston, they had listed an ineligible player, who was an unused Substitute.
Damn Shame!

Delusional fantasists x 2.
Just say no, don't do drugs. Or drive minicabs.
If we can finish somewhere in the top 5 of the Championship next season we should be satisfied. Indeed, after the clearout and rebuilding with young, inexperienced talent (which has to happen soon), we may be glad to escape a second straight relegation. Please BOD, no signings of ageing duds, just perhaps one or two old heads in place to lead by example (like a Jimmy Bone or a Tommy Turner or Andy Millen) and a squad of promising, hard-working kids will do for me.

In his early 20s DB worked just down the office from me in the Finance department in Chrysler in Linwood. He dipped into the handbag of one of his female colleagues and nicked a cheque from the back of her cheque book. It was weeks later before she discovered she had been robbed. I can't go along with the (almost romantic) image of him as the happy-go-lucky, cheeky chappie thief. Shoplifting from a large store like John Menzies might seem like a victimless crime to some people but some of his individual victims suffered genuinely significant losses. He is just a nasty, despicable arsehole who stole from working people that couldn't afford the loss.

Another defeat at home today and more serious issues to be debated but something really bugged me today.
I wonder if there is any chance that responsibility for the setting up of the notices / birthdays / advertisements posted on the "big" screen during match days could be passed on to somebody within the club who possesses a basic understanding of English grammar, or more specifically the use of the apostrophe.
Today's abominations included St Valentines (Valentine's) Day and My Cards (Card's) Bigger Than Yours.
Yes, I know this may come over to many as extreme pedantry but in my humble opinion this is amateurish and an embarrassment.
Rant over.

Can I also add to that list the number of times that Mr S Dickson has used everything that he believes is wonderful at Motherwell as a mallet to bash anything and everything about St Mirren.
