Whilst I don,t agree with that line up . a subs bench including Ridgers , Tesselaar , Mallan , Thompson and Datyon would give the manager a few options to change things if plan A isn,t working

We badly need some muscle and experience to give the team a bit of spine , if we can get a settled team , a settled formation , and a good team spirit , thee is no reason we can,t compete , and create an exiting finish to the season , but we badly need a wee bit of experience .

I,m thinking we are putting together a decent squad capable of staying up , and we do probably need a couple of experienced central midfielders / central defenders to give us a bit of solidness , but when we get that sorted I think we,ll have a right decent team , and the opportunity to change things as the game progresses.

If we have genuine pace up front , a long punt forward into space is a genuine threat , and maybe an option we shouldn,t be shy of using when we are under pressure , which might cut out a few defensive mistakes . Also having a couple of fast players about the halfway line when we are defending corners , might not only restrict the amount of players coming up for corners , but give us a real threat as soon as the corners cleared . They would have said that the arrangement to sell McLean for a cut price deal was a gentlemans agreement with the previous owners , but would consider selling Kenny McLean at the end of the season

If there was a seriously interested party , there would have been an arrangement in place to keep Kenny McLean until the end of the season , so IMO the deal is now off. I wouldn,t be surprised though if the group from the North of England ( or a different variation of it )come back with an offer , as they were a tad disappointed that their original deal fell through .

Well that's GT done reasonably well for attack minded players during the transfer window , Dayton and Arquin have a decent amount of experience , and Sonupe and Sadlier are both players who have a bit of potential . Now can we have a no nonsense centre half and a tough tackling midfielder.

Much has been said about us not being a good selling club , but its not often a team has bought a player from us cheaply and sold him on for a massive profit. So we must be not bad at getting the right market value for a player.

Hugely disappointed , I,m still hoping we have at least two players coming in , we need a Shug Murray type midfielder and a no nonsense centre half , not youngsters on loan , but experienced players , lets hope theres a few decent players about without a club. Just put a tenner treble on Morton , Aberdeen to finish 2nnd Albion Rovers and got 10/1 , not a bad wee treble

Its worth bearing in mind we got nothing for Gowser ( who in all fairness cost us nothing ) , and whilst we haven't received massive transfer fees for players , its not as if we have sold a player , who has then gone on for a massive transfer fee . Hopefully the wag made available with Kenny going and some of the incoming transfer fee can fund another three signings , which is what we need to have a chance of staying up , we can improved the squad and bank a few quid , then in all fairness we should consider it good business. Lets see what team we put out before our next home game , before we become over critical .

Lets see the quality of our starting eleven and bench at our next game before deciding whether selling Kenny McLean on was a good or bad thing . Could be a good bit of business if some of the funds are used wisely . Having said that I thought £400 plus a sell on clause , plus staying with us on loan until the end of the season would have been about right.
