So...having waded through the shite, is it fair to come to the conclusion that the virus is the sky fairy's fault? Thank f**k, takes the pressure off China.

Sounds good, but I'm a bit worried about the double post. If you get haufers then haufers again, it means I only get a quarter. Don't mind you getting a wee bit extra as a finder's fee but that seems excessive - how about 52.5/47.5?Ok bully salmonbuddie, we're back on track.
I'll e-mail them then introduce you as the muscle in my company, that will scare them a bit.

Cut my commute to work from 45 minutes (each way) to around 5s from kitchen (coffee!) to back room. Saved a few quid on car running costs. As we, fingers crossed, come close to the end of flippin lockdowns, what have been, if any, benefits over the last 15 months?
I'm honestly struggling to see any real improvements to life in general. -
You should probably read back before commenting, too.You guys need to work on two things.
1) The chemistry between you.
2) Yer humour.
Cos this is painful to watch.
Here to help. [emoji3] -
Not even close - you suffering from a reaction to your jag?It was a humorous comment based on Oaknob's usual comeback.
jeez -
Have a wee read back. Thanks for mansplaining that [emoji50]

There was nothing anti English in what she said. Anti Tory and anti right wing, yes, but not anti English.
Is it because, well, ye ken, the Torygraph is really just an English paper, for English people (like a local shop, for local people) and therefore anyone who reads it is OBVIOUSLY English.
[emoji848]
-
Still struggling to see anything anti-English in Ruth Wishart's tweet. Anti-Telegraph readers/Tories (that's just about the same thing, after all) yes, but that's not a bad thing imo. -
Got my 2nd today, fully microchipped and feeling better for it.With the vaccinations numbers racking up it's looking like the majority of cases are exactly those who haven't had their jag.
I'd guess the conspiracy theory king, saintnextlifetime would be in that bracket.
oaksoft done a complete 360, no surprise, after calling people who had it and wanted it guinea pigs.
Anyone else still to have their first jag?

Mine too, my mother stayed with the practice all her days but I changed to my current doc when my son was born so we were all in the same place.Seriously. I didn't want to. They were my doctors from the day I was born. I actually kept quiet about moving out of their catchment area for a few years.
Iirc Dr McGregor was our family doc when I was growing up. -
You seem to be well informed about these things @Cookie Monster, any idea how they work the queue, is it your practice that decides the order?
My missus is 7 months younger than me and doesn't have any underlying listed health conditions (I'm diabetic) but she had her first before me and gets her second on Sunday while I'm still waiting to hear. The only thing I can think of is that my diabetes has been ignored by whoever decides (it's well controlled) and it's being done in alphabetical order (we're not married, her surname's D, mine M).
I'm not bothered, just curious.
ETA just logged in and my second jag is a week on Sunday

Didn't want to pollute the Coronavirus thread any more than it's already been polluted but apropos one of the non-covid related posts in there I think we should be getting worried...
First this from Slarti:
Yep, I didn't realise that my thoughts had a squeaky voice and were in Swahili. Then this happens:
Coincidence or Twilight Zone? You decide...
[emoji846]
-
Questionable?Madness and The Specials aye, Weller fake with a questionable past. -
Can anyone translate, I don't understand Swahili. Especially in a squeaky voice like that.Sorry, can you say that again? -
There are some on here who don't understand written English...It's no wonder that I never know what I'm thinking, I don't understand swahili. -
Another Peter Weir moment from the leg-end that is the oxter. That's almost word for word what I expected your reply to be, thanks for being such a predictable figure of fun.I know it was a joke. I was asking him to explain it. Thanks for stepping in though. Another valuable contribution from you. [emoji38]
Incidentally, I left you an open goal and you completely van Vossened it. -
2nd jab coming next week.
Can't wait.
Get that AZ or Pfizery goodness inside me now.
Hope the microchip they inject into me reboots faster than the one they gave me with the first jab. The internet signal was a nightmare. No facebook, no twitter.... Get it sorted Bill.
We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to the brilliant scientists across the world who created these vaccines so quickly and essentially ended serious illness and deaths amongst those who have had their jabs. That has been the greatest achievement since the discovery of penicillin.Plus having that extra hand you grow helps you type faster [emoji1303]
Oh ffs, oaky, it's an attempt at a humerous response to your first attempt at a humerous post, don't read things into it that aren't there. Again...I must be foggy on drugs or something but I have no idea what you mean.
-
"Mark Twain's a plagiarising bastard" Socrates“There is no such thing as original thought” Mark Twain -
... maybe the issue is how you express yourself.
Just a thought.
The irony is strong in this one... -
Aye, but I fixed it - you were too quick. The post you quoted was in response to Bud the Baker?
