Don't you get it. He is listening to info from the VAR panel as well as watching the monitor. Was a tough decision for Croatia but the players hand moved forward onto the ball. That is deemed intentional. Tough, because I don't think it was intentional. 'Intentional' is the key word in the hand ball ruling. The rule is a bit of a dog's breakfast since the 'intentional' aspect is being overridden.

Course I get it. It was not intentional so should not have been a penalty. Glad that decision will not be the one that decided the game.

Surely it's more important that the right decision was made rather than a minute or so?

Somewhat questionable whether it was the correct decision. Has accidental gone out the window. Two players claimed . no-one else in the ground saw it. Looked accidental to me. Load of crap.

How do you know this and is there a rule people can't join in?

How many "supporters" turned up at Hampden to cheer on St Mirren?

PS Just seen a news item with Croatia "supporters" going crazy when they scored, hard to tell who were 100% interested in football.

Yeah wee ladies from east Kilbride jumping on ambulances. Regular sttrnder is she?

You obviously were not at Hampden for the last Scotland v England game then - the reaction was similar at the Griffiths free kicks and it was fantastic - pure raw emotion, the stuff that keeps us coming back week after week.

Yes from people at the match who has probably been to loads of matches where they failed. Not people with little or n interest in football 99% of the time.

  5. Have seen coverage of the scenes from the fan parks across england. The over reaction to England scoring is incredible. I have been going to football for over 50 years and have seen league wins and cup wins and have honestly never reacted the way these people, who have probablynever been to a match in their lives,do. It seems to be a modern thing that all emotion is incredibly overdone. Strange to watch.

  6. Part of the first saints team I really remember. 67-68 season I would be 9-10. Had been to lots of games before that but that is the first season I really remember. League champions in the first half beat rangers in the second half of year for the first time in many years.
