Yep. Was there yesterday . A great day out , fantastic turnout ,aided by great weather. Pity bout the BBMF no show but these things happen. As ever the Vulcan was the star of the show. I never tire of seeing it. Hopefully the show will be a permanent fixture on the show calendar & go from strength to strength.

Defo cant agree with that. He looks like a little lost boy , In my opinion, based on his performances for us to date , he is no better than Reilly . BTW , i really do hope he proves me wrong.

So with this seasons improved squad, how have we progressed?

Just spent £55 watching my team this week. Certainly no cheap option for me and other mugs fans.

1 shot on target , 13 shots in total (including one which ended up in the Family stand car park !) These are professional football players who ,i assume practice these things on a daily basis . Not good enough. Add this to a midfield who insist in passing to the opposition or into no mans land plus a defence which simply is not good enough for this level of football and its already looking like a very long bleak season.

Yeah , of course we have a better squad, thats why we pushed a 35 year old into action too soon from a groin injury , because we had faith in his understudies !!

Though they saved us in the past the club is stagnating under the current regime. Lack of energy , lack of leadership , lack of ideas & severe lack of ambition. Wylde never got past the right back at all in the first half, he didnt do too much better in the 2nd when they switched wings.

Tonight we heard Alistair Darling admit that Scotland could use the pound. "Of course Scotland can use the pound " he said. So what was all that pish about last time round then ? Better together lying again ?

I dont think anyone disagrees with that. Its a great idea Its just too feckin small to be read by all of its intended audience.

Div , I understand what you are saying from an advertising point of view, i`m sure many of the people who are your target audience would be in the two stands you mentioned (although i take it you only want customers who support St.Mirren then !? obviously coz the away fans cant see it & it is virtually unreadable to the TV cameras) As for birthday messages ,I would hazard a guess that the majority of the Birthday requests are aimed at the Kids in the Family stand and i`m sorry , a very large amount of the text on screen simply cant be read from the south stand so we are gonna have a lot of unhappy panda club members and disgruntled parents ! Sorry Div , its not fit for purpose, would you be happy if the tannoy could only be heard in part of the ground that you were sitting in ?

Always overflowing , They have two large industrial bins at either end of the main stand, here`s an idea , if you keep overfilling two bins..... Get Three !!

Watched the highlights on last nights BBC Hurdygurdy. The JD sports stadium / Glorified Carbrini Advertising hoarding stadium is starting to look ridiculous . There is more Hi Vis round the ground than at a health & safety conference. I know the commercial & business reasons for doing it but to me its starting to look cheap & tacky.
