One of the worst spl central defenders ive ever seen.
The only reason he got anywhere near a Scotland cap was because Craig Levien was picking his pals !
I took an advanced driving course a few years ago through my work & the instructor kept telling me off for excessive gear use.
When i questioned him on the reasons for the "new" way of driving which relied heavily on brakes instead of gears to slow down he told me one of the reasons was " that it helped reduce wear on the gearbox & gears !!"
Bollocks , i told him , i`ve driven over a million miles & never replaced a gearbox !!
What he didnt know was I was working with a market leading brake manufacturer at the time, & i told him that due to the ridiculous methods of teaching, brake pad sales had increased in 5 years by almost 25% while Brake disc renewal had increased by a whopping 75% in the same period !!
Or we try this : the manager constantly monitors players form both in training & in matches. If he sees that a player is exhibiting a dip in FORM or confidence whilst another player is on the up ... change it !
If its a one off ........ spend the time at the next training session examining mistakes made & trying to learn from them .
I dont believe its right to drop players cause of one bad game , the reason both young full backs are in the team is because of the form (or lack of form of both "1st choice " full backs ") They then become the No1choice & shouldnt lose their place because a speedy winger hangs them out to dry during a game .
Yep. Fair cop ! a wee tad arrogant !
( are you watching oaksoft in the head ? you should try this when you get things wrong.... you would double your post count !)
Not for one bad game.
Cheesy has been a key part of our good run of form of late (As has Kello) He had an absolute stinker on saturday but i dont think you should drop ANY player on the strength of one bad game. If that was the plan , you`d have a different starting eleven every week , constant changes in team line-up would be detrimental to the team
It was a serious question Bud.
I know people hold on to tickets for games they`ve attended which may have some meaning. The cup final , first game etc but buying other peoples FREE used tickets just seems Bizarre !
