How on earth do thistle get away with the facilities in the old ramshackle main stand ?
One tiny gents loo in the west side of the stand which is capable of taking about five people at a time must contravene some H & S laws surely ?
& for those wanting a bite to eat ....... have you got a spare 30 mins to queue ?

At one point this evening Teale shouted instructions to Thommo who nodded & gave him the thumbs up. Small thing i know but i couldn`t imagine that response to TC shouting instructions .
They do seem to be getting the best out of the players available as far as effort & spirit is concerned.

One point worth mentioning - our corners have improved no end since Mallen started taking them. Goal came from another cracking cross at pace right into the box.

Sanctimonious pish. There's hardly a guy on this site who hasn't paid cash in hand to someone at some point, thus depriving the Exchequer of both VAT and income tax. Glass houses and all that.

Scrappy game but do we give a f**k ?
It has been said many times already but Cheesy & Goodwin were superb. The tackle by cheesy in the first half could be used to coach young players how to do a sliding tackle !
Thought Osbourne was a big miss when he went off .
Young McGinn looks like he could do with a wee spell on the bench .

He was magnificent tonight. Won every header and cleared his lines. Magnificent.

What a tremendous result, and finally the clean sheet too. Delighted. We've only got 18 points this season, and 6 of them have been at Firhill. Can we make that our new home ground?
Oh, the game, terrible. First half the same as the second, us playing rubbish and Thistle playing worse. We played better against Dundee last week and lost.
The big plus was our defence, they were excellent. Our best player was Mark McAusland and our second best player was Jim Goodwin. Our midfield really did them no favours at all but they were superb all evening.
Fifteen day break for us now and we go into it on a high. All Saints fans would have taken 7 points from the last 4 and we have got that, not in the expected order certainly but a good return. Come on!

Mcausland and Goodwin were outstanding :-)
