Speaking personally as a household with 2 STs we have absolutely no interest in travelling to attend games where spectating is limited and with restrictions. Happy now to wait for normality which should be next season. I appreciate that's probably a minority view but it really makes very little appeal as a match day experience with no opportunity to meet up pre or post match for a pint and sitting in a sparsely populated stadium in masks with set arrival and departure times etc. Not for us so happy to let whoever most benefits the club go if it comes to that this season (personally I'm doubtful pre split at least)

That was more or less my thoughts before I posted.  Just wanted to know how others felt.

For me, it's all about the whole matchday experience and the present arrangements are not appealing.

Happy to wait, as long as I can see it online.

  2. I'm a bit disappointed in the responses so far folks.  They are way off topic.  No surprise there eh? 😃

The original post was basically asking for your opinion concerning allowing pay-at-the-gate fans back into the ground first - as opposed to ST holders - providing some income to the club.  If it is ST holders only, then this will cause a loss to the club.

Personally, I would be happy to wait and watch the games online until thousands are allowed back in.

    What do you think?

    And.....

    No. ££££

Where did you get £150 from Bud?

    On Official site it;s £59.99:

How does the virtual season ticket work?

Season ticket holders will have access to all home matches live. Season ticket holders will use individual login details which will provide access to live match day broadcasts from St Mirren Park. We have also agreed a deal with our new partners at Stream Digital that will see our season ticket holders given three months free access to the full St Mirren TV platform.

Full access gives full match replays. Does that include away games?

  4. You buy an SMFC ST for £323 - you get a free stream of home games only.

You live abroad (😄) and you buy SMFC TV for around £60 - you get both home and away games.

Can someone explain that one to me please?

Do ST holders even get access to a replay of the away games?

I’ve tried to watch the Bundesliga ghost games but I switched off after 10 minutes as it’s just like a training game with absolutely no atmosphere.

I think Saints games will have a similar feel.

One possible way to overcome that is to have a mass Zoom call in the background with rabid Saints fans hurling abuse at the officials and the away team.

Yeah!  Beam the Zoom page to the Scoreboard, project it onto all stands and have the sound linked to the - now excellent - PA System... sorted.

  6. Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I;m not reading through all the shite in a hope of joining in a similar discussion, but Furlough should be the norm for ALL Professional football players.  Why should they be treated any different?

If they have a massive Mortgage, then they can take a break in payments.

If they have betting debts, hell mend them.

If they have to cut down on their Tattoos, so be it!  Think of the money they are saving on Coiffures  🧔  👨‍🦲

Plenty of people would love to get up to £2,500 a month.

I hope Saints are using this scheme, like all sensible businesses should..

    Stay Safe all 😷

From the guy that’s just had to comment seven hours after the subject went cold...

Wasn't cold for me. Just read the topic today.  Been away from the forum for weeks due to your constant regurgitation.  You really are quite needy.

BTW, you will find that that was my only comment...  You should try it...

If it doesn’t make sense we will not continue using the software, it can be purchased without a long-term tie in contract. Simple

As for the SMISA & SMFC being separate entities, there will still be considerable crossover & as long as GDPR compliant we could save MI on any system we want. SMISA will be the legal owners of SMFC as per the agreement. SMFC will have systems we might continue to use or we might integrate all into this one (kept separate where necessary)

As I’ve said before these options likely were considered & there has likely been much deliberation. There are marketplaces for this kind of software & there’s every chance SMISA is sensibly part of that. Getting someone from the Uni will not give the same event, outage & incident protection an off the shelf package does.

Apparently the above positive outlook on using this approach is ‘polluting’ according to Vambo57 though... can’t think why

You just cannot let it lie.  On and on ad nauseum.  It's actually all about you.

You can just state your case once you know.

Div put up a very well balanced comment and caveated his response with the system having much more capability than we’ll initially use it for & that he’s sure it’s been thought out. It’s always good practice to test a system & not go 0 to 60 reliance with its capability.

Your last sentence in the third paragraph is where the main problem in that point sits.

correct not negative not moaning just an opinion & not a claim they haven’t followed process. very fair.

Stop polluting the Topic. "We" don't need you to answer almost every post, including this post.
