There's a good article in today's PDE about McGinn (but as usual it's not online yet). David Longwell says he thinks McGinn can go a long way in the game and praises his attitude and talent. There's one bit, I think, says a lot about McGinn as a person ' When the team won the League Cup last season, John came into the coaches room on the Monday morning to thank us for the part we had played in his success.'

I was excited about the prospect when Carey returned 2 years ago, however for me he has disappointed hugely. We've only seen fleeting glimpses of the player we expected, however not often enough in my book, and for all we expected about his set-piece delivery it's been really poor.
For me Lennon is partly culpable in not being able to get more from him consistently, but the majority of the blame lies with the player himself...6 months to get fit and lose the weight was an absolute joke.

I find it hard to digest that companys I know of who support St Mirren week in week out and have put in upwards of 60k a piece have not even been asked to be corporate members.

This really annoys me about some saints fans! We see about 5mins of McQuade in a game and 'hes not a player' and 'he'll never make it'. Judge him once he has played at least a handfull of games then you may be entitled to say hes not good enough, but you never know he may surprise you! But i guess youve already made up your mind.

I am pro CIC, having had the concept explained to me, it sounds really good.
I am pro St Mirren, despite Hammarby, 3 of the 4 1980s cup semis, the 2010 League Cup Final, and the bib strip, they're my team of 36 years standing, and counting.
Should the club and the CiC mix? I don't see why not, I think the people behind it will work damn hard to make it work.
Am I sick to the back teeth of going around in circles arguing about it on forums? Hell yeah.
