  1. The only thing I get too much of is chocolate. Really, I could prolly live off the amount I get at Xmas for months.

Always end up sharing it about just because there's so dang much of it.

Mind you I'm guilty of it too - normally get the stuff for the maw & paw as well in lieu of any better ideas........

Other than that, I normally get a good selection..........

  2. Your name cropped up in a conversation today regarding aliases.

I and others have numerous aliases that were registered prior to the one email address per account rule you introduced some time back now.

What this has done is, for all aliases registered with an address that has already been used to register another alias (eg this TL one as I registered the Seph monicker first with the same address)... the email adress of the said alias is changed to an address which does not exist.

This obviously affects PM notifications etc etc etc. And short of registering a whole load of email addresses via hotmail etc, there's not a lot we can do to sort the situation out.

Also, the person I was talking to says they can't actually access one of their accounts without creating a new email account for that alias, a further complication on top of what I'm concerned about.

What I, and the said individual above want to know is, is there anything you can do at your end to help ease the situation?

    Cheers in advance bud. :)

  3. Thanks, Dave - that's exactly what it was - I had the audio sound setting on mute (god knows how that happened).

  6. When I try to play an mpeg on Winamp or Realplayer on my machine, I get the pictures but no sound through my speakers. The speakers are okay, because playing DVDs will put sound through them.  But strangely, CDs are silent too.

Anybody know what the problem is ?

Check your volume settings Bill. Might sound daft but there's more than likely a good number of them and if one gets turned down or muted it can mess things up.

  7. 1. That American themed pub in Brechin with the TVs in a rather unusual place...where else can you piss on Charlie Nicholas.....
