4. Listen to music.
5. Play the guitar.

Methinks I'll be getting a new comp.......................

Thanks Div. Is what I suspected. I've got most of the stuff I need/want on cds anyway. Not sure my PC will be able to handle a new OS though, suspect another visit to Infiniti may be in order, tell them to gut it this time........
Incidentally...I far prefer '98 to shitty XP which is on the machine I'm on here.................
Actually Ching, just checked the CDs - it is SE. Be afraid bud....
Oh yes, and thanks to BvB as well...for digging out his patter from 2001. Again. No beer for you on your birthday.............

My main computer (1999 P3 600 running on Win '98 - I know, ancient) has developed a rather major fault - it gets to the point in startup where you see the desktop background has been loaded, then promptly fails the Explorer program, leaving me unable to continue and basically requiring me to shut the PC back down.
It started playing up earlier this night...not letting me stay logged into a site for any amount of time. So I thought I'd clear the cookies, temp internet files etc before trying again. No good. So I shut the system down. When I restarted it was asking me for the Win 98 product details etc...so I entered them only for explorer to fail before progressing any further. The situation's been that of the prior paragraph since.
If there's anyone who can offer some help and advice on what to do to sort things out, they would definitely be much appreciated........
Thanks in advance guys.

In no particular order:
1. Any "supercar". Totally impractical & makes you look like a complete berk with a small, or indeed no, penis.
2. Anything in LHD. You are gonnae get royally pointed & laughed at going across toll bridges or going through a 'drive thru'.
3. Any Chevrolet. They're either shitty yank tanks or rebadged Daewoos. Both utter pish.
4. Mitsubishi Evo/Nissan Skyline/Subaru Impreza. Makes you look like a complete berk who plays Gran Turismo games too much.
5. Overly modified small hatchbacks of any kind. Normally driven by one of the Burberry brigade with a thumping great stereo. You'll no fit a good bit of MDF in one o' them.

Very true - the Fake Saints and the Moanin', Greetin', Whingin', Bairns took the total ripoff award last season.
I imagine North Sea Saint will come up with a few jokes about pie now..........

Partly because I like standing when given the option (as the County fans at Vicky Park can do under cover in the Jail End), partly because I think paying £14 for entrance to that stand (as it was last season) is a bit much.
Even the terracing was £12..........

We had plans last year but they were shelfed due to finances. I doubt that the will happen this season as we are trying to reduce the wage bill and claw back the debts slightly, hence the new chairman last season. If we get our house in order and we are seriously contending then they may reappear later in the season.
I see. Well I suppose if all else fails and you were to win the league at least you could share with ICT given what happened last year........

We need a roof over that away terrace. Bottom Line. Been asking some of your fellow supporters for some time now as to just when you're gonnae build a decent away stand there....?
Heard some plans to upgrade the place to SPL standard, any idea when they'd be taking place?

Good thread.
1 - Ayr - Has the lot, and only a short journey away
2 - Anywhere in Fife...will never be the same going through there now tho
3 - Arbroath - Like Ayr, but more mental & further away
4 - Dumfries - Excellent choice of pubs
5 - Brechin - The pub with a bog where you can piss on a TV set
Trips up the A9 to Sneck & Dingwall are a great experience too, but quickly get tiresome.

In a word, yes.
