  1. Try swapping him for Corky

I subbed Corky on for him a few times...didn't play as well for me. Maybe I'll try him starting a few times in friendlies and see what benefits (if any) there are.

Tbh I use Corky as a sub for Lappin as he always tires quick playing a 3-5-2.

  2. Corky is imense in it...........

Went to Asda to get it for the wean  and realised that they had sold out ...... Ended up travelling to renfra to Tesco and they had 1 left.........

Bitch in Asda stated that the promo price would increase as they had sold out ............

Think the cheap price in ASDA was just over the weekend.........

Got it on the Friday because of that (cheers for the info Hollz - saved me a fiver that). I think Kirky's too fat in it, though he always seems to clear headers with ease.....

For me, Keano seems to be the superstar getting hunners of goals........

Our preset ground looks...passable, if you think of how Love St used to be before the ends were redone.......

There's not much variety in the ones the Scottish teams get though, if I do the league for Saints again I think I'll be changing them more often........

Anyway, already won the double for Saints, the English League Cup for Derby & 'English Cup' for Newcastle......

The League Cup Final was a hoot btw - didn't know before tonight that you could change the kits/stadia in tournaments so had Derby playing in their home kit of white shirt, black shorts and black socks, against a Man Utd in their away kit of white shirt, black shorts & white socks.........

How the f"k I won that game and kept a clean sheet with only the socks being different is anyone's guess...........

  3. I heard the Killer's new album yesterday..................

Sounds like they've been listening to A Flock of Seagulls..............

Heard it said a while ago their latest effort was going to be part inspired by listening to Bruce Springsteen...........

    Any truth to that............

  4. The St Mirren page has info supplied by a grade 1 tuuuuuuuuuuube..............................................

    Indeed...............

That grade one tube however did get credited and quoted in the book that the owner of the site published a few years back............

    So...GIRUY................................... :double:double

  5. While I eat smoothies far more than cereals for breakfast, the odd bowl makes a nice change, or indeed a good wee supper. So with that in mind.........

    1. Corn Flakes - You just can't beat them for versatility
    2. Bran Flakes - Fantastic advert back in the day, even better Naked Video spoof...
    3. Weetabix - Great, as long as they don't get too soggy
    4. Frosties - Total childhood nostalgia & sometimes I eat them dry while watching a fillum (cheap popcorn)
    5. Shredded Wheat - Simplicity

Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes are however, also fantastic every now and again......

  6. Lamb is wonderful, unless garnished with mint, I just don't understand that pairing............

Anything cooked in the vicinity of sprouts or beetroot is rendered inedible...........

The smell of coffee also destroys any food that is due consumption...................

    What he said..................

  7. Correct. The most boring thread ever on the forum. A long, long, long procession of people trotting out tedious album and song titles - most of which naebody has ever heard of - and HHIBSS responding "Yeah, great tune" to every one. I tried to put it out of its misery once, but the fecker refused to die .......

Just ban Gwegg then - don't throw the baby out along with the bathwater.............

  8. Not sure of that one but one of the Scotts (Walker or MacKenzie) had a pony tail

Last time I bought a FIFA game, he was. Normally stick to the ISS/Pro Evo games but with the buds in it, I'll get FIFA this year.

As for 2001...wasn't one of our white players, black in it?

  9. A few months later and we have gone from premeir champions back to diddy league two and fighting Horsham to avoid relegation.

That's what happens when the best players retire with no-one to replace them.
