Don’t think I’ve seen a single St Mirren fan make any claim like that tbf.
You'd be surprised.

Robinson has moved St Mirren on considerably
Absolutely. Both on and off the park.
Anyone who would have Goodwin in charge rather than Robinson is a complete buffoon.

Which makes me wonder why we play Jamieson. I know Jamieson is young and has potential but at the moment he is just not good enough. The difference when OIusanya came on was there for all to see.
Scott is a quality player who has suffered with injury and his mother was seriously ill also, thankfully from what i last heard was much improved. That said he needs to get back to where he was or he is going to waste a serious amount of talent!
Indeed.
I think the last few games have proved this.
Olusanya has to start against Aberdeen.
I'd also have Baccus on from the start.

How many booking has Baccus picked up this season?
Don't know if this includes yesterday or not. It's part of his game. He had a similar record with his previous team in Oz.

Should we perhaps be trying to tempt Bruce Anderson to wear the stripes?
I'm sure we tried last season.
However, he's Killie bound apparently.

If you haven't watched it, try Kin.
First series on BBC iPlayer.
Second series just started last week, but on iPlayer too.
It's about a Dublin gangster family. Really good IMO.
Hidden Assets is good too. About the Irish criminal assets bureau. Based in Shannon and Antwerp.
Just about finished 1st series (on iPlayer). Second series on iPlayer too.

Losing to the team bottom of the league was certainly no surprise, nevertheless a pathetic result.
Not quite as pathetic and unsurprising as your post though.

It doesn’t change anything so Mandron scored on Saturday great but it doesn’t alter the fact he’s not a prolific goalscorer and it might be another 10 games until his next goal.
We'll see.

Well, who could be surprised after such a dismally disappointing transfer window when we missed out on our number one target KVV, it's understandable that we played appallingly today and clearly we're heading for a stick-on bottom 6 spot, and ..., erm, um ..., oops, oh dear, my bad !!
Yip.
Fortunately our manager knows so much more about football than the negative tits in our support.

Back for Wednesday's game according to Robbo.

Olasanya & Mandron could play for 20 seasons and not score 20 goals between them, I’m afraid unless we sign someone special before 11:30pm tonight we are in trouble up front as we have zero goal threat in our strikers, Van Veen would have been perfect.
Deary me.

I have no memory of that bridge.
Did it link the Canal St line with the “other side”?
Think it was part of the Paisley and Barrhead district railway.

If you're insinuating that we were ever in the running for Mellon you're sadly mistaken. LOL. (Capital letters for future reference)

It was England's reserves and Australia only had about 30% possession so I'd suggest he hardly had a very good game.
I, mostly, get disappointed, when he plays for us.
In and out of the game, needless bookings so maybe I'm expecting more on a consistent basis.
Strange that you should take the word of a random score generated through a method which is traditionally incredibly inaccurate, rather three people who watched the game focussing on the player's performance.
Much like I did yesterday, where again he had a very good game.

He was hardly "brilliant" against England (5/10 on the ratings I found)but I'd prefer we keep him, although he's a bit hot and cold for me.
I watched the England game and he did have a very good game. In fact he performed much better than any of the Scotland midfielders against the same opposition.
He's a first pick for a team currently ranked 25th in the FIFA rankings. He might not be brilliant but we'll miss him hugely when he goes. Unless of course the Foyle/Robinson combo has identified a similar prospect.

Yes.
Caught a few whoppers though.

Nonsense. It was my opinion. Read what I said FFS. I started that statement with "Maybe".Or do I have to explain that I DIDN'T ask the manager?
ETA I also followed up with "IF he thinks none of our young players will make the grade "
Now please behave. That statement was my opinion just as your statement is NOT fact but simply your OPINION. .We simply differ in our opinion so please refrain from deciding what I think.
Behave yourself.
No amount of whataboutery will change the phrase, "That's more to do with the manager's lack of belief than the ability of the boys in question".
No "maybe" or "if" in there.
Anyway, you'll be happy to know this will be my last post on the matter. Fact.

I disagree. I think he's handled Jamieson very badly. Flitting him on and out for no apparent reason when the lad did ok is, for me, more likely to demoralise and demotivate the player. And I'm NOT sharing my "wisdom". Like most on here, I'm merely giving my opinion which you seem to decry by giving your own words of "wisdom".. Or is that not allowed in your small world?
It's fortunate for us all that you're not the manager.
You stated, "That's more to do with the manager's lack of belief than the ability of the boys in question"
That's not an opinion.
You're stating that Robinson has no belief in his younger players. Asked him did you?
You've clearly got a beef with our youth system. That's fine, but it skews your views on the matter.

Maybe it's more to do with a lack of trust that the lads can't replicate what they show in training. That's more to do with the manager's lack of belief than the ability of the boys in question. IF he thinks none of our young players will make the grade then something is very wrong with this supposedly elite academy. These lads will NEVER get real game time while the manager lives in fear of playing them. Even when they do well they are, in the main, dropped back to the bench or even out of the squad. We are a club that needs to be bringing youth through and selling them on.
Or maybe he uses the reports he gets back from the individuals that he sends to watch them that to decide they're not developed enough for first team football in the top league.
It looks like he's read the situation with Lewis Jamieson extremely well.
Although I'm sure he'll be grateful for you sharing your wisdom on how to bring young players through.

No wonder. For whatever reason he didn't get a real chance in the team this season
The form of Scott Tanser would be the main reason I suspect.
