it absolutely has to start today..
We must win this game. -
much better St Mirren teams than this have suffered far heavier Celtic Park defeats.
Doesn't make it much less depressing though. -
that keeper must have had a tenner on f**king Burke as first scorer.
WTF was that? -
I'll take any set of results tonight that doesn't have us bottom at the end of it and no further back from Accies.
Keep the score down lads has to be the mantra.
I have it on Harleyquinn....so far so good!
I like seeing the red away strip at Celtic Park but why did we wear it on Saturday in Paisley? that annoyed me. -
I was annoyed to hear Tam McManus making the point, more than once, that the game was Jim Goodwin's job interview....and that he had passed.
That was just before it all turned around though. -

this reminds me of the sinking feeling I felt when we played Clydebank at this stage as holders all these years ago....
John Davies and all that
But, it wont impact on our league survival bid.
Yes, I'll say it......we can concentrate on the league now....I KNEW it, never in doubt!

what is the story with the Slovakians?
Slovakians in or not? was/is there more than one?
We need to get lucky like we did with a certain Icelander many years ago.
A player just about to blossom and come in to form....we need 2 or 3 of those. These strokes of luck do happen..
Oh, and Ferdinand to stay. -

As much as I'd love to see him back with us for the rest of the season, it makes more sense for sellik to loan him to another team as opposed to coming back to his old club.
aye, if Lewis Morgan is going out on loan from Celtic he is not coming to us.
...Kilmarnock or Aberdeen where he can possibly hurt their main opponents would be my opinion of a Sottish destination. -
have we signed Ernie yet?
-
it was clearly a Rangers policy at the start of this season to try and influence /intimidate the referees to sway their way. They had Gerrard right on board right from the get go/lets go.
And it worked, right from the rescinding of that first Morelos red card....to the non punishment of the 3 incidents in the recent Old Firm game.
Celtic no better of course.
The whole old firm/Rangers/Celtic thing is sickening and it seems, to me at least, worse now than ever before.
I've been to a few 'Old Firm' games over the years but I certainly wouldn't go near now.

"Jeff King joined St Mirren in June 2018 as he became Alan Stubbs' third signing as St Mirren manager.
The winger came through the ranks at English side Altrincham and has spells at a number of non-league sides in England before joining Bolton Wanderers.
He made his debut for the Trotters in September 2017 when he featured against West Ham United in the EFL Cup.
The following stats shows the player’s St Mirren related stats across all competitive games in the following competitions; SPFL, Scottish Cup, League Cup and Challenge Cup."och, THAT King! got yi noo.
Just in time for him to head back doon eh road! -
King? King? WTF's King?
-
have we not signed anyone yet?
It all puts me in mind of the old Saint and Greavsie joke about how a manager of their day accidentally signed Ernie Hunt.I am not a doom and gloom pessimist but it is really hard to see how this is going to end well....this season at least.

who was that Blakburn Rovers loan in? Graham?
If he had squared to McGarry at Celtic Park the same season as Renfrum....
maybe my recollection is going slightly on this one! -
Renfrum. ....good grief. One lucky mis-kick Love St end goal and that was it.
-
finished the book....really enjoyed it.
Did Tony write it himself? it certainly sounds like his style and way with words.
I had no idea about the mad chimp! ...or quite as mad as that anyway.
made me like and admire him even more than ever. -
that's half the season gone and we are not bottom....with the bounce of the ball and results going the way they maybe should we should still not be bottom before the (ridiculous) winter break.
We'll take it from there...
start off by beating St Johnstone 2 days hence. -

oh well, some of my recollections were correct anyway...no sign of Pelosi or Brogan!
That was some team we had then....how did we manage to lose to that bunch of duffers?!

St Johnstone have always been a tough nut for us......another bogey team.
Even when we were fling high in the early/mid 80s and they had just been promoted and were really struggling. ...one particular game, which I was at, they had hardly any points or goals well in to the season, came to Love St and beat us 2-1. Our goal being a very late consolation by Mark Fulton at the Caledonia End if I mind right!
John Pelosi their hard man in midfield and John Brogan up front....
will go try find that game on the programme site. -
looked like we created as many good chances as Motherwell and a wee bit of good fortune in defence...fantastic.
Some cavalry charge by them at the end there!! -
great stuff....c'mon now.
-
whit's the f**king score?
I do know that Hamilton and Dundee are both drawing. We need them to LOSE.
