  1. no central defence cover on the bench? can Eckersley or Smith play there?
  2. who was that fla with the dreadlocks Moussa....Dagnona? scored for us in a vital relegation game at end of 2000/2001 season...Love St end, against Dundee Utd maybe. I thought he was truly awful.
  3. the replies since my post above show how difficult it will be to reach a consensus.......................... ....I'm right though
  4. yes, I am afraid that it is the 4 Old Firm games that attract the TV deal money. I think the best we could hope for would be a 14 team top league incorporating some kind of split....and, I think the split would have to be a top/bottom 8-6 to make sure the actual champions would be decided on an even keel with even fixtures. That would also give a bit of leeway/wriggle room/breathing space for clubs such as ours....and a better chance of being in top section following a split.
  5. worse than Jamie Carracher, much worse.
  6. jeezo, clearly of bad character...the faither will be wishing his daughter had never taken up with "that footballer"
  7. is this the d ay we find out if this game is on or not? Hope Morgan, Magennis and Smith are not called up. Maybe their form has slipped just enough for t hem not to be,........
  8. getting nervous about Saturday already, a good strong win and Morgan hat trick will alleviate all fears and worries.
  9. not adding to this......I know it will have moved on a bit. Is thisno the most enjoyable season for a long time? yes it is.
  10. I know this will not have the slightest influence on the game but COME ON ST MIRREN. get the second then 3rd and 4th. Apart fae anything else my whole evening's enjoyment depends on it!
  11. but none of this Ryan Hardie stuff matters. The only thing that matters is a St Mirren win tomorrow.
  12. Hardie did score 2 goals that got us 2 early season points that kept us in the division 9 months later.
  13. terrible defending from United for Livingston winner. Surely that is them out of the equation. Would rather have had a draw though. But, a good strong win tomorrow and we are flying again.
  14. on the evidence of that first half Dundee United will be going down the league rather than up.
  15. 0-0 with 2 sendings off for violent conduct each, we will settle for that.
  16. the two Morton subs that day.....ex Rangers Colin Jackson and future Saint Tommy Turner.
  17. http://www.stmirrenprogrammes.co.uk/StMirren/STM_Match_Details.php?Season=1983&GameID=198403100 I recall that being a fantastic game. remember McAvennies power pace and strength down the left to score the opener at the Love St end ...I think! Then Pettigrew giving us all a few squeaky bum minutes when he made it 4-3 in the same goal late on as we headed, watching all the while, to the ramp!
