  1. It will "drag on" until either: - the final piece of funding/whatever is missing, is resolved for the CIC team OR - another definite bid comes in from another group No sign of the latter, so things will just roll along as they are now I would imagine. Unlikely that anyone else will pay £2m for 52%, so I'd expect the Consortium to give Richard as much time as he needs if he is the"only show in town". I don't think it "casts a shadow over the club"....I mean, its not as if we are in the same boat as that lot in Govan
  2. It is shaping up to be the perfect storm, and one that can ultimately benefit Scottish football..... They won't fold, but will be sent back to the state they were in c.83/84. No cash, half-empty ground, sh*te team, etc. Marvellous Someone will probably buy Ibrox, and lease it back to them. Beyond that they are stuffed. If they go into administration before Xmas, then the players contracts are worthless, and they can walk to other teams for hee-haw. If they don't go into administration before Xmas then there will be a fire sale of the Ibrox playing staff in the January window. This then lets c*ltic think (wrongly) that sacking neil Lennon would be a mistake, as they catch r*ngers up. NL is of course completely out of his depth. Consequently, the "best of the rest" will catch these bastards up sharpish. There will be no Atlantic league. The EPL don't want them. They have no option but to stay put and grow their own players in a much more competitive league. At last, we get the competition that we all wanted all along, even the OF, but what it will take is for one/both of these fuds to go to the very edge of expiring.

  4. Quite liked that track Sid. Ta.
  5. Craig Whyte bought them for £1....but agreed to wipe out their millions of debt. I suspect this maxed out his funds, as it appears that there is nothing left in the tank to pay HMRC. It is fair to say that Whyte does have a somewhat chequered past, and although the mess is not his making....it may be the case that he cannot solve it either. Wonderful ! r*ngers are about to be dealt a severe financial injury, which will propel them back to 1983 status. For the supporters of every single wee diddy team who have been bullied for the last 20 odd years by the OF, who have been lectured about "getting their house in order", who have seen 80% of the SPL income go to two teams, and who have seen those two teams p*ss it all right up the wall.......these are momentous days Watching the sh*tehawks eat themselves alive is just an added bonus.
  6. Craig Whyte cannot defend himself in regards to the BBC programme. He is in a legal case against Martin Bain. This may explain the futile attempt to get a siege mentality amongst the bears by banning the BBC. r*ngers are in way over their heads to the HMRC for a tax avoidance scheme in the way that they paid players. Martin Bain implemented that scheme......yet amazingly gets £500k of RFC funds to be protected if he wins a lawsuit against Whyte. You really couldn't make this sh*te up. It's simply a question of how much they have to pay HMRC and when. Indications are that it will be massive, immediate, and could wipe the f**kers out. There will be no knight on a white horse to save them - they weren't there when RFC were up for sale. Like their supporters, r*ngers are regarded as a toxic asset.
  7. When I've reached retirement age, there will be a load of 30/40 something Buds talking about the Golden Years of Thommohawk & Teale. This is a good thing !

  8. Comedy genius Kids - if you believe that , then you'll believe anything ! Total and utter loony. BTW Sid, unless your eyesight is shot to bits from decades of self-abuse over Anne Diamond, you will see that I am not anti-CIC..........or are you just choosing to ignore that, and making up more lies ? That would be quite out of character.
  9. Sid said it was. But it isn't. But he'l lay into you if you think it is (dead). Crystal clear now Chico ? Anyday now there will be a new Facebook app called Fudville, just for this thread. You'll be able to keep abreast of things there. Unless Sid says otherwise. I'm still checking my e-mails...apparently there 's one coming in ? St.Sid: Seems like BLF did have some inside knowledge...that is the official email from 10,000hrs hitting the email boxes now. A real shame and as BLF posted lets hope that whatever happens now some of the very positive ideas from the CIC are kept alive #Absolutelyf**kingcuckooandcompletelyawaywi'thebirds : :
  10. It's my benevolent side Sid. Got to look after the mentally ill. "Seems like BLF did have some inside knowledge...that is the official email from 10,000hrs hitting the email boxes now. A real shame and as BLF posted lets hope that whatever happens now some of the very positive ideas from the CIC are kept alive. "
  11. Keep 'em coming Sid. Ace Look - if I was a selling consortium member, I would be giving RA as long as he needs. I would also do my best to assist him getting the funds. All perfectly understandable. As long as there is no other concrete offer on the table (and as far as I know there isn't), and on the proviso that no member of the Consortium develops a monstrous crack habit and/or compulsive gambling addiction, then I expect to hear nothing until the day the deal is done. To express a view that the selling price is OTT is hardly heresy. Stop making a f**king clown of yourself, and let it all go until what will be will be.
  12. Sid – Your post last night about the e-mails being sent out is now conveniently being ignored by your good self. It was the work of (at best) a fantasist, and (at worst) - a compulsive liar and serial bullshitter. I’ll clarify my position for you old chap: • I had severe doubts about the CIC. • I spoke to RA & read up about similar-ish operations in the English lower leagues, whilst also talking to a couple of lads I know who followed those teams. Concluded that this was a good opportunity, and we should give it a real go......provided there was a decent & robust managerial structure. GLS arrival on the scene was good news on this score. • I think the £2m valuation is over the top, and no matter how you spin it, it means that the CIC funds take longer to impact on the pitch – which is what I am most interested in. I may be no massive fan of SG, but there are 4 others in the Consortium, with whom I have no gripes at all. I hope they all do well out of whatever sale comes along.......but if the future is the CIC, then all I am interested in is that it (CIC) gets the best possible chance to impact positively on the playing staff of St.Mirren FC. Most people on here know what YOUR wee game is regarding bids for SMFC – let’s leave it at that. I don’t need to write waves of abusive text in your direction old bean – you are doing a wonderful job yourself. Please keep it up – we haven’t had as good comedy as this on here for ages. Quite appropriate choice of song to go out on, eh John ?
  13. Liar & Fantasist at work. Again.
  14. No e-mail yet Sid, and I have the 10,000 Hours address as a "safe sender". You're surely not talking porkies (again) on this one ? IF the CIC thing isn't happening, then I hope that a lot of the good ideas aimed at generating revenue for the club will not disappear into the ether. Likewise, there is also a large number of supporters willing to "chip in" on a monthly basis to some form of fund that would benefit the club. In today's economic times, this is not to be ignored, and will hopefully be developed into something positive.
  15. Still shaking my head in wonder at serial bawbaggery!
  16. Just because I was there, and not to curry favour with St.O'Sid
  17. Sold enough records in 1980 to be at No.1 for 6 months in 2011. FACT. F*cking having it !!!!!!!!!
  18. Are you really sure about that ? I mean are you quite sure ? As recently as Oct 8th.... "In case any CIC investors are on a tight budget you should be setting aside a tenner a month commencing in November" Please, ladies & gentlemen, have a good old trawl through "The Club Buy Out" thread on the CIC Forum. I don't really need to expand on that - just go and have a gander. By the end of this week, some people's (plural - not just St.Sid) will have their credibility on a par with Nick Griffin being invited to present a MOBO. I don't need to say anything. Just go through "The Club Buy-Out" thread started by Lochwinnoch Saint...................... Oh dear
  19. Oh you naughty little scamp !You're making things up again ! ".....despite many telephone conversations with Richie Rich" Eh ? I just went off RA's statement that there would be a debt and it would take 2-3 seasons to pay iot off, before the CIC funds really impacted on the playing side of things. I've spoken e-mailed RA about other things, but I took that information (debt) at face value. "....you are coming from a position of personal issues with the consortium." I've not mentioned the consortium, other than to say "good luck to them if they can get away with that price being met". Does this mean that everyone else on here who has twigged your wee game has "issue with the consortium ?" Probably not. Now be a love and please f*ck off.
