I appreciate that but some information, given in confidence, can't be proved however I suggest that most contributors come on here with the sole intention of keeping other fans well informed, fans that might not have the same contacts within the club as others. Consequently, that allows the naysayers to come on and cast doubt on any well meaning fan such as Animal or Goodietwoshoes. When posters such as the afore mentioned two offer their views in an articulate, well thought out manner without resorting to hysteria I tend to find them credible. What I don't find credible are those who are so firmly entrenched in their pro Kibble stance that they stubbornly refuse to acknowledge other than the opinion that Kibble are great, Kibble are good, Kibble can do no wrong.

I've said before: don't believe me or any other poster - Ask a Smisa rep! Ask a director. No one will tell you that the Kibble directors have a harmonious relationship with the club.

As expected, 20 year old Aberdeen midfielder Craig Storie has signed for Saints on loan to the end of the season.

Won't feature against QoS this week, he joins the squad start of next week. Not entirely sure why but assume he might be away on hols with the Premiership clubs on winter break. Just guessing though.

Will be formally announced later today.

Gordon should stop telling you things

So investment in a business means no family holidays? Really?

That's truly your best complaint about my post? Hmmmmm.

Wasn't a complaint about your post just stating facts, seems due diligence was not that diligent

If we don't go with JD Sports then we're almost certainly resigning ourselves to a branded up bit of teamwear out a catalogue like we did in the Hummel days.

We will be able to get a Nike or Adidas logo on the shirt which will keep the kids happy, and we will be able to buy in the stadium which will keep everyone happy. That's the good news.

    Now that bad.

We'll also be at least two players down on the first team budget given all the sponsorship that JD have put our way.

Like them or not losing JD would create a big hole in our finances.

All those who wanted this did not realise what a good deal we were getting

The same SG who when Saints were an established top 12 team would willingly have accepted us dropping to the second tier in order to establish an SPL 2 with increased finance and the return of a top 10 than no fan wants?

The same SG who wanted to fast track the rise of the team that replaced Rangers so that we wouldn't suffer financially?

The same SG who oversaw the releasing of Lennon... the appointments of Craig, Teale, Murray and Rae?

No hidden agenda you say? Correct... it was all about trying to protect his investment then in the car crash caused by forming the cartel in the first place, followed by trying to minimise the losses!

SG did a great job in saving and stabilising the club... then dined out on it for a decade at the expense of all the good he had achieved.

His track record is a lot poorer than that of GLS who has to be given time to stabilise the mess he has inherited from your hero who can do no wrong in your eyes.

Gordon Scott inherited nothing he did due diligence so he was fully aware of what he was getting into, although he is that bothered he has gone on holiday

Why not ask the board if the recent dance sessions in the members bar were a charged let then? I'm a founder member and didn't get asked about the use of the space I've contributed towards.

As for holding anyone accountable, even a shareholder with one share has that right.

It's paid for, get a life, "nobody asked me" I'm a founder member so what.

Since the stadium opened I have parked in Ferguslie Park Ave next to the car park entrance. Most weeks there no times on the no waiting poles for match times. But sometimes there are but up until today no-one has been ticketed. After 7 years of allowing parking the police and the club should have warned supporters that they were now going to issue tickets. The problem this season is using the Club parking for airport customers. At 2pm when I arrived to-today Ferguslie park ave was full on both sides of the road. Goodness knows where people parked today. On a side note at full time a minibus was allowed entry into the car park as supporters streamed out. The minibus deposited its holidaymakers then left while supporters' cars were still waiting to leave. Obviously holidaymakers are more important than season ticket holders.

Seen that, and the steward had a wee blether with the driver,  then allowed him to reverse and drive out while people were walking out, not only that holidaymakers were loading their suitcases into their cars while cars were leaving.

  8. Can I just let you all know. The design for the forthcoming strips were done and giving to JD SPORTS in October. TF has been on to them to get the strip released. It's all down to JD. But there should be a announcement by next week. Hope you will be happy with the new strips.

anybody who is not happy with the strips (3) will be really hard to please
  9. I don't think we pursue initiatives like Street Stuff and Midnight Football to make money. They may well be funded by grants or whatever but I can't imagine we make a profit on them. There is so much stuff going on at St.Mirren over and above the first team and youth setup. I don't think the club gets the credit it deserves sometimes for what goes on.

I also don't think you could really call the stadium sponsorship deal with the council anything other than a commercial business contract. The council perhaps got a more favourable deal than a blue chip would get but it's still a six figure sponsorship package.

clearly you have not got a clue how the club runs
