  1. Bit harsh on Carswell. He's not the player to light up a game but does the dirty side well. As a whole the team are rotten but actually think Carswell has been far from the worst player the last few games. good tackling and decent passing. He's certainly not gonna play a defence splitting pass. That midfield is missing Goodwin badly. We win as a team and we lose in as a team. One individual doesn't lose a game.
  2. To be honest I wouldn't trust this BOD with the task off finding another manager.
  3. Not even hit November yet and our season is over. What a waste of a season ticket.
  4. Same ref that sent Conlan off for nothing at Morton. Now sends Baird off for what is only a booking. Garbage.
  5. Great to see us win ugly. Good 3 points considering the run of fixtures coming up.
  6. Langfield, Kelly, Webster, Goodwin, Thompson, Howieson, Baird, Agnew, Cuddihy, Mallan, Gallagher On the bench: Wilks, Carswell, Conlan, McMullan, Morgan, McLear and McGrath
  7. Murray needs to go. Simple. 1-1 at home to the worst team in the league. 10 mins to go. 2 subs left to use and he's looking at Spalding for answers. Embarrassing.
  8. Chopra and Thommo at Cardiff at the same time. Could put in a good word if we were seriously considering him.
  9. Think Teale might regret not sticking Goodwin back in midfield for a bit of presence, by the sounds of it were getting dominated in midfield. Nobody deserved to be dropped after last week but playing the same team doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get the same performance.
  10. Went to the game today expecting a bit of a dead rubber, haven't even thought about the football all week but found myself celebrating that first goal and became increasingly desperate for us to pull it back to 7 points. I do think we needed a performance like this a while back to rejuvenate the players and fans for the run in. For whatever this result is worth come the end of the season, were up until were down and i'll continue to hold onto whatever glimmer of hope we have. If anything it makes next weeks round of fixtures interesting. If we go into that Motherwell game within touching distance...... eta Big shout to young Jack Baird. Solid.
  11. Alan Johnston got a job yet? Surprised he hasn't been mentioned but would love to have experienced manager like calderwood in the championship.
  12. This is as low as it gets. Don't even have the will to write something negative about the board. Devastated.
  13. This is the same board of directors who would rather argue with their own fans and shareholders at an AGM in defence of a manager everybody knew was failing only for them to sack said manager a couple of games later. Shameful. Cheap team, 2 cheap managers and an expensive season ticket.
  14. Such expensive consequences for so many cheap decisions. I really hope Gilmour and BOD think it was worth it. Next wad of cash that lands on his desk he should just take it.
  15. Quite gutted to hear that the big man is out for a while. Clearly injury prone but for me hes been an unsung hero this year in the middle, he does an absolute power of work. He will be sorely missed. An injury we could really do without right now.
  16. Not so much the footage but more the general opinion of the pundits that are on. The general consensus seems to be that's it's harsh.
  17. Trial by Sportscene tonight. My own opinion on it is initially i thought he caught the lad late leading with the studs but having looked at it a good few times it does seem he may have made contact with the ball and won it back for us. However he does seem to follow through and catch the player. Definitely a challenge he's entitled to make, the ball is clearly there to be won. Football is a contact sport after all. Doubt it'll get rescinded.
  18. Hope everyone that made the journey up enjoyed themselves!! Incredible result!!
  19. Anybody up there think the red card is worth an appeal?
  20. Noel Hunt just been released from Leeds. Wouldn't mind him till the end of the season.
  21. Absolutely devastated after today. Really think we couldn't have afforded a loss. It's a long road back from here but i seen enough fight from the boys to think its doable. Up there with one of the most inconsistent refereeing performances ever. Alan Muir lost it. Was thinking to myself at 1-1 if Well get away with a point it'll be daylight robbery. How they walked away with three is beyond me. They offered nothing today. Kenny was incredible today, covering every blade of grass would consider playing him further up the field in the future. Really need to start picking up points soon.
  22. I'm in absolute despair at the current predicament. I think we've gone with Tommy for far too long and genuinely believe we're gonna struggle to come back from this. Tommy should've went after the Hamilton game and we could have gave ourselves a couple of weeks breathing space and time to find a new manager. Now here we are with no manager and a massive game looming at the weekend and an absolute humping off Celtic just gone by. No signs off Improvement and defeat off Motherwell will leave us cut adrift. The board simply need to get this appointment right or it might just be the end of the Premiership road. That being said getting the right manager is one thing keeping ourselves in the mix until January is another. Gilmour and the board need to dig deep and get the right players in that are gonna make up for Tommy's transfer woes. 3 strikers, all ineffective is utterly demoralising. My thoughts on a new manager? In an ideal world for me it would always be Mixu. For now i would really settle for Caldwerwood. I dont care whether people like him or not but he has the track record but again he simply doesnt have the personnel to work with. All these people talking of Barry Smith and Billy Stark scares me. Please no!
