Wonder if JR thinks Dundee was worth it now. Horrible news. Looks like Kirkpatrick will be given his chance early on.

How do you know he's our top earner? Suttons wage is irrelevant to me, that's his business. He's a different option to what we have at the club currently, therefore he should stay. We're a little bit light up top to be letting go players of Suttons ilk.

We didn't get Loy because the club didn't want to pay what he was after. Simple. Suttons wage has absolutely no bearing on Loy not being a St. Mirren player. There's currently 2/3 wage slots available at the club. If we wanted to push the boat out for Loy we could've and in my opinion,should've.

I don't think he'd bite your hand off at all. Thing is Sutton is a great player to have at this level as he's got bags of experience which can't be said about our other forwards. He also gives us the option of going long. Really don't think we're in a position to be letting players of Suttons calibre go freely. Regardless of whether he's a high earner or not.

Was never a centre half in a million years. Good attacking full back. Worst thing Ian Murray ever did was convince himself that the inexperience of Baird and Kelly were his central defenders for the season.

Happy with this. Essentially getting two players for the price of one. Can focus elsewhere now. A bit more width, a striker and potentially another centre half and we'll be good. I love pre season optimism. Crushed the opening game of the season.

Fairly sure we wanted him before he signed for Dundee Utd.

Do I think he should stay? Yes. Do I think he'll go? No.

Don't understand the furore surrounding Stelios, he's a good option to have but he's hardly Lionel Messi. I'd like to have him back and I'm pretty sure he will be but I won't be losing sleep if he chooses to ply his trade elsewhere. Constant pestering on social media seems a bit much.

Feel for Hutton, was playing in a team utterly devoid of confidence and lacked any game plan under Rae. We all witnessed the transformation of Mallan in the second half of the season. Thought he might have been given a chance to prove himself in a couple of friendlies before a decision was made. Would be looking at doing the same with Quinn. Misses half the season injured anyway.
