  1. Good luck OK. You’ll need it!

Hope the fans give you a bit more time and treat you better than they did the last one.

And a wee tip. Make sure Mackenzie, Eckersley and McShane are in your line up every week otherwise you’ll get lynched.

Why don’t you do one and give yourself and the rest of us a day off from your tedious shite.
  2. Touchy. I know what the standard of the A-League is like. I’ve been to games.
Just made the point, Arzani played in the World Cup. Johnston played in the Toulon tournament...a big gulf?
    f**kface.

    What a legend!
So if I get this right - I’m a season ticket holder at Melbourne City and have seen this boy for the last 2 years but you’ve “been to games” in Australia? Hope you enjoyed your holiday but you have no idea what you are talking about.
The boy will be a really good player but he has been playing in a shite league and got a run on for one of the worst international teams at the WC.
So I’ve watched Arzani extensively but it would appear you haven’t actually watched Arzani or Johnston so you’re just blowing a lot of hot air.
    Happy to help f**kface.
  3. Aye. Watch Johnston all the time too then?

I know that A league is Championship level at best and he came on for the worst Australian national side in 30 years who should never have been anywhere near a World Cup they are so bad.
So that’s what I know - what the f**k do you know apart from what you saw on telly f**kface?
  4. Based on what?
Arzani has just played at the World Cup and, from what I watched, made a big impact on games played.
At the same time, Johnston played in Toulon.

Based on living in Australia and watching Arzani every week. That good enough for you?
  5. Polite request: could the gentlemen who are waving their flaccid members in the air and screeching like a couple of gibbons about their in-depth knowledge of obscure legislation, please retire to the Wank Tank to continue this debate?
I understand that premier Cuban cigars and vintage cognac are available on request.
    Thank you.

    Amen.
  6. Will there be lots of cheers to welcome Ross back ?
    Just polite applause for Jack.
    Silence maybe.
What about a loud St Boo welcome?  Boooooooooo
    Silence from me
I have seen a few Managers win things for our Club.
Lennon, Macpherson and Hendrie are absolute legends and I have great warmth for them.
Not the same warmth for Fergie, although he done a fantastic job and left the Club with a great playing legacy which lasted years. But, I am still waiting on him bringing his United Team to Paisley for a money spinning Friendly, especially when we were in the gutter throughout the 1990's. He played many games up here but ignored us.
No warmth at all for Ross. Disgraced and disrespected all at St Mirren for the Raith Rovers shambles. Also, he could have stayed one more Season.
    Silent and dignified.

    You’re officially a f**king arsehole.
  7. Yes it should be. I'd expect Sunderland to win promotion again. The club certainly have resources and financial power, especially if the debt has gone and there's a £41m parachute payment left intact - although there's some speculation that the £41m may have been part of the deal with Ellis Short. But the club still has some major issues pulling it down. For example Jack Rodwell is still under contract at the club. Last season he was reportedly earning £70k per week and refusing to play football for anyone. According to reports there's a relegation clause in his contract that means that now the club are League One Rodwell is ONLY due £40k per week. Borini who was on a six figure per week contract has left the club now to sign for AC Milan so his wage has been freed up but Papy Dijlobodji is still under contract and earning in excess of £50k per week despite not playing for the club - Sunderland were gutted he didn't make the Senegal squad for the World Cup as it might have gotten them a transfer fee. And Wahibi Khazri is still under contract till 2020 at Sunderland despite having been out on loan last season at Rennes. Kone, Cattermole, and O'Shea are all still on Premiership contracts earning large sums of money.
Charlie Methven - Stewart Donalds right hand man - yesterday talking to Bloomberg said that there would be an initial period of investment and restructuring with the aim to make the club fully sustainable.
Whoever takes the Sunderland job on for the coming season - and I don't think it will be Jack Ross - will be working under a different regime to the one that used to go through managers every season. It will be a challenging job with huge expectations but it would also be a real opportunity to add an English League One title and turning round a real giant to their CV.

If he had a decent chairman who was prepared to back him then this would be an absolutely phenomenal opportunity for Jack.
A real football club with 30,000 at every home game who would treat him like a God if he got it right.
The problem is the Board and the Chairman.
