If nobody has offered to reimburse him, then I can't blame him for refusing.

If I was the owner of stmirrenshirts.com, I'd want some proof that the shirts had been stolen - for example: an incident number, a letter from the police proving the theft was reported, (social) media reports, etc. At the end of the day, if the guy bought the shirts in good faith, he's as much a victim of crime as the family. I don't like the fact that there's some sort of campaign against him on Twitter, and that folk are judging him without knowing all the facts. It's not right.

I agree. The initial statement said the shirts/memorabilia were missing or stolen , which would indicate that no-one knows what really happened ?

Thats a very polite way of putting it...nice to see our reject Ross Stewart doing so badly with 18 goals at Sunderland this season 😄

    Sigh

! "Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth said after the game: "Ross Stewart is a hell of a player and he will go onto huge, huge things in his career and today was a huge learning curve for my defenders."

Are we doing this now to beat Motherwell to it ?    😉

Just a thought , I wonder if there have been many players who have been inducted into the hall of fame with two or more clubs ?

I’d say Sutton merits the ‘Well honour as much if not more than he does with us but nevertheless, well done John. 👍

Doug Somner I believe , for one !

Wycombe 2  Sunderland 3 5 minutes to go. Entertaining in game. Ross Stewart with 2 plus header for the first that ended up an own goal. He has turned into a fine player. 17 league goals this season.

    Sorry now 3-3.Smashing game.

It really does beg the question about Stubbs and the running of the club at that time , doesn't it. How could he/we let a boy like that go , and fill the club up with unwanted dross , and be allowed to do so ?

We must be clear favourites to go down surely.Wouldnt suprise me if Ayr pump us out the cup either.

They had a decent result v Raith , and have made what looks like a decent managerial appointment , so appears to be a whole new ball game since the draw was made !

A fine place of learning in the background.

The fenced part next to the wee building was where Brendan sat in his Parducci ice cream van and sold us singles, of the tobacco type.

We went to the wee shop near the old bus stop on the other side of the road and bought 10 No6 for 15p. Then we went to the wee post office which is now "Billy's" . I was "acquainted" with a girl who worked there and we just lifted about £2 worth of goodies and she would charge me 5p or less .  😇

  7. First Saints match , I wasn't supporting the Buds , vague memories of  a game v my Dad's works team , India of Inchinnan , in the Renfrewshire Cup. The programme history says game was at LS , but it was played at the Tyres Sports Ground. 6-2 for the Saints , and at least I can claim I saw Beck , Clunie , Gray , Wilson and (Red) Campbell in a Saints jersey , and Peter Holding in a Tyres jersey ! 😍

Some St Mirren stuff in here………………….🎅🏻

Talking about Fergie chasing the linesman , first time I saw it happening was at Palmerston season 74/75 , we had started to put a run together to try and make the  top six in Div 2 pre reconstruction and we were winning 1-0 , John Young headed clear from a  John Dempster cross and the linesman signalled hands , which it wasn't , and thankfully the ref waved play on. Fergie came storming out the dugout , he was wearing a long coat and the physio (not Ricky) was trying to hold him , his coat came off and was lying on the track and his head was like a beetroot , shouting in the linesman's face ! An absolute nutter ! 😄

They were quoting on the radio that we had 10 outfield players and 3 keepers available, but  we were given special permission to recall 4 loan players to make up the numbers. Don’t know how reliable the info was?

As far as being made play the game, as soon as you have to recall young loan players from other clubs to scrape together a team the game should be postponed. We often hear “sporting integrity” getting banded about. That looks laughable if the rumours of numbers are true.

I’d also be interested to know if Celtic are urgently trying to push through postponing our game tomorrow or they just want the winter break to conveniently start after they’ve played the Buddies ballboys??

There's a tweet from a fairly reliable poster saying that only three of the players who started v Hibs are available !

Is the fact this has come up again is potentially because this is a way that Jim could get Kennedy, who he has wanted for some time? Can Kennedy not play wide, which is something we have really missed this season, width, as the wing backs have to cover a lot of ground and the hoof ball into corner areas means the strikers are the ones dragged out of position?

    Sure I read Kennedy's out injured long-term !

Would be interesting to know what Hibs expectations are. Are they expecting to be a top team every season? They’ve never been that.

I’m personally surprised at Ross getting fired.

This must have been planned for a while , they probably already know who'll be coming in as manager. If Jacko had won them the cup then they would have got pelters for bagging him later in the season.

From what I seen from Killie fans, they were three of their better players. Can’t say the same about Macpherson for us last season & doesn’t seem to have done anything at St Johnstone so far to tell me he’s what we need.

The gaffer will ultimately decide though.

It might not all be down to JG , because if we don't make Cammy an offer of a new deal , we lose any development fee !
